Well there was not a single trans black woman when we launched the UK Gay Liberation Front. It was mostly gay men with a few lesbians. Same in the US. Ask @FredSargeant. The early transsexual rights organizations were explicitly homophobic. They saw us as sexual deviants and didn’t want to be associated with us. Later on, they saw they could do better by joining us. It was a tragic mistake for LGB groups to embrace “gender identity” - which is a sexist, anti-gay concept. But we are reviving the LGB rights movement! @lgbinternationl @AllianceLGB
