I write about leadership, faith, family, and growth — grounded in real life, not theory.
I’m interested in how people build character, lead well, and stay disciplined over the long run.
No hype. No shortcuts. Just doing hard things the right way.
I told myself it was temporary.
Just get through this season. Just hit this goal. Then I'll slow down.
Later comes fast.
Your timing and God's timing aren't always the same. Trust Him with it, and steer back now.
One honest question for this week:
If the job went away tomorrow, what would be left?
And have you been taking care of it?
Drift isn't dramatic.
It's one late night. One skipped workout. One distracted dinner.
Then another.
Nobody decides to drift. You just stop steering.
If you're early in your career, here's what I wish someone had told me.
Four things. Learned the hard way.
3. The people at home get your best, not your leftovers.
Protect that time on the calendar like you'd protect a board meeting.
4. Your health is a priority, not something you fit in when you can.
Your company can value you. It just can't be where your value comes from.

For a lot of years I gave my best to my career and my leftovers to my faith, my family and my health.
Then something happened at work.
Work hard. Be excellent. Just know where your value lives.

3 things the Bible doesn’t say:
1. Follow your heart.
2. Believe in yourself.
3. Do whatever makes you happy.
3 things the Bible does say:
1. Deny yourself.
2. Trust in the Lord.
3. Pursue holiness.

I'm almost in AWE at the masterful level of deception James Talarico employs in this ridiculously viral interview on Jimmy Kimmel.
There is a VERY SUBTLE play getting run on Christians over and over. And once you see it, you can never unsee it.

Someone asked grok to remove the fake gods.
The only one it didn’t remove was Jesus Christ.
Even grok knows Christ is King ✝️

Even the Groks will cry out?! There is none other like Jesus. Even so-called "super intelligence" recognizes it.

Man gas is really expensive, I better vote for the party that flooded our country with tens of millions of illegals, funded the creation of COVID-19 that killed tens of millions, turned the intel agencies on private citizens, mutilated & indoctrinated our children at scale, stole an election, illegally spied on the opposition party/candidate, sabotaged an administration, framed a duly elected president, ignited a color revolution, bankrolled Hamas protests on college campuses and universities, censored Americans, jailed supporters, staged a fedsurrection, locked hands with islamists, and installed a non compos mentis dementia patient as leader of the free world.
First time seeing my boy since he left for college football 10 days ago.
Watched him get reps today, loved seeing him compete!
Proud dad. 🏈
