Permanent land-use change is one-way to reduce the extra nutrients that arise from new housing but what about enduring, renewable land-use change as a more flexible solution? Director David Baxter discusses why it makes more sense in his latest blog: linkedin.com/pulse/enduring-…
***PUFFINS HAVE LANDED*** it’s happened, Puffins have landed this morning on their breeding colonies on Isle of May for first time this year, having been away at sea since last August. Great news!

Great @EcosystemsNet seminar on woodland creation #AWC20 today. 2 big issues @EnTradeUK can help with : 1. Attracting more landowners to provide land via simple, online market that can aggregate smalll parcels of land. 2.Measuring wider credits that can be sold to wider buyers.

Thanks to Wessex Water for donating more than £1,200 towards a new bottle filling station at Beechen Cliff. It will be well used and much appreciated. #wessexwater

The technology is available, and as soon as ⁦@McDonaldsUK⁩ start printing car registration numbers on takeaway packaging, this constant tide of littering will stop. Come on guys - what a Christmas gift to the countryside (and taxpayer) that would be!

We all know that restoration is increasingly important to make our #rivers resilient to #climatechange, but what benefit can #riverrestoration have in mitigating the impacts of climate change? All other additions welcome! 1/14

Great point from @AliDriverUK at Rewilding Britain. “We are aiming for 5% of land to be in a process of rewildimg. Currently <1%. Will this impact food production? Let’s put things in context. 70% of UK land is farmed but 40% of food is wasted. I know what I would focus on!”

3️⃣s needed a 19 point swing in a title decider at Devizes and got it! Fraser McRae 40, Jeffrey 25 & Hill 22no meant 170-8. Two for Nige Simpson and @JordanWickens2, combined with 5-6 for Scott Sandford and 72ao was just enough. Div 9 Champions 🎉💚💛 #OnWinsleyOn #GoGreens

This is exactly what our aim at EnTrade is – to facilitate environment improvements by bringing together partnerships and driving collaboration between catchment spending bodies to deliver cost-effective outcomes. An example being our new cover crop verification app for farmers.
Replying to @Eunomia_RandC
@Eunomia_RandC it looks like all the fantastic #earthobsevation data being discussed at #GAdebate2019 is going to be too much for under- resourced government agencies to use. We need to develop apps that work for private sector. Sums up the whole natural capital debate really!
