An apt summary about the second half of the year so far.
The past few months have just been giving Things Fall Apart vibes — Nigerian startups are shutting down — USA is preparing the Pentagon for God knows what — AI hacks —UK is asking people to prep for 3-day lockdown — France vs. Japan, and other Twitter world wars — El nino — France burning buildings 😭

Some things I've been able to do recently, when I was a teenager I used to marvel at people who could do them and pray that one day it would be me too... The universe is unbelievably kind if you don't stop working. Dear men, keep working.

Today, I challenge you to do this: 1. Switch off your phone and remove all distractions 2. Take a pen and paper 3. Write down every skill you have (doesn’t matter if it’s not tech) 4. Ask yourself what the world is already paying for that matches those skills 5. Come back online, open ChatGPT or Claude, and paste this: “I did some introspection for self-assessment and my skills are [list them here]. What does the world want and is already paying for that matches these skills? Suggest specific opportunities, niches, or offers I can package and start selling quickly.” Do it now, don’t procrastinate

Imagine someone accessing your website without a password, taking control of its server or potentially exposing sensitive data. That's the risk behind two critical PHP vulnerabilities disclosed yesterday.

But still PHP is the software behind millions of websites (including most WordPress sites) and yesterday, it was found out that these vulnerabilities allow hackers take over servers without needing a password or account. Basically lets them steal data. That’s why if you noticed, different services were going down.

If your website runs on PHP, make sure to contact your developer or hosting provider and make sure it's updated. Don't just assume you're safe.

I have a few Moonshot tickets to give out. Let me know in the comment if you need one. Please, you must attend if you get a ticket.
Come to @moonshotbytc guys I have crazy transferable skills. So last year, I had newly started to officially explore crypto and stablecoin. I went to Moonshot and met someone who has now become a major part my journey. I'd never met this person prior.

Remote workers, I hate to admit this, but I think reality is beginning to set in. Remote job opportunities have reduced, and if we don't prepare for what's coming, a lot of us will struggle financially. Let's be honest. Many of the opportunities available today are freelance gigs. Some last months, some last a few years, but not all of them offer long-term security. That's why diversifying your income is more important now than ever. If you're a remote worker who spends money anyhow because you believe another job will always come, please wake up. Your current income is not guaranteed to last. Build other income streams while you still have the money to do so.

Opportunities abound for those bold enough to stand out and go after them.
Hi, it's Darshita. I am a designer. And I'm pitching myself in public 'cause I'm done with a year full of anxiety. Everyone says design is dead and AI killed it. But the real parasite was hiding in plain sight. So here's my film, DESIGN IS DEAD. She's bold, fearless and very PINK 💖 Hiring? My DMs are open.

I'm excited to share that I'll be speaking at @RaenestApp event in VI. Next month makes it two years since I started this account, and looking back at how far we've come is something I don't take for granted. From sharing my experiences online to helping people find clarity, land opportunities, and build better lives, we've come a long way. Getting opportunities like this to share my story, connect with more people, and create even more impact is a beautiful feeling. Thank you for the opportunity. We're only getting started.
We’re excited to welcome Technical Ben as a speaker at Raenest Exchange 2026. Benjamin Shotala, popularly known as Technical Ben, is a technical digital marketing specialist, CRM expert, email developer, and creator.
