Star Detective Precure #40 Staff Aoyama's work is as solid as it normally is, though the highlight aside from Murakami's storyboard was largely the compositing work which is also said to have been a one-man job. A solid chunk of this episode was again wasted on BANK scenes...

DBS: Beerus - Episode 4 Animation & Episode Breakdown: A completely *fine* episode that successfully overhauls one of the arc's ugliest episodes, but makes some truly baffling choices in the grand scheme of the series.

DBS: Beerus - Episode 3 Animation & Episode Breakdown: Unfortunately, I was not a big fan of this episode. While episodes 1 and 2 mostly calmed my fears about tone and pacing, this is everything I hoped the show *wouldn't* be. A rushed, tonally inconsistent mess.

Star Detective Precure #39 Staff Good episode, though the fight left a little to be desired. The Doremi parts looked the best, particularly the last scene. PAPALELO (Eri Irei) is present, alongside Masahiro Naoi and Yoshitaka Yashima...

GOKU VS BEERUS: Episode & Animation Breakdown 🧵 While a big jump over the remaster's first episode and a DRAMATIC transformation of Super's OG Ep 5, this is not the crazy ambitious overhaul one might expect. It's 'only' a very good episode of Super, but maybe that's the point!

Star Detective Precure #38 Staff Solid episode this week, with nothing particularly groundbreaking. Harumaki does a cool scene. There's a new eyecatch.

Would be nice if they could release these materials in a book, but they seem more interested in releasing them as goods.

Star Detective Precure #37 Staff This ended up being one of the better episodes of the show thus far, having an actually good, lasting action scene. Tsuchida and Fujihara were as good as always.
