Maturing is realizing they never burned witches. They burned midwives, healers, herbalists, and knowledgeable women. Women who understood medicine, nature, and their own autonomy. Women whose knowledge threatened patriarchal control. The "witch hunts" were never about magic, they were about silencing women who couldn't be controlled.

They do worship Athena that’s precisely why the scene hits so hard. In Nolan’s The Odyssey, the beheading of the Athena statue is deliberately match-cut to Greek soldiers killing a young Trojan priestess of Athena (also played by Zendaya) inside her own temple during the sack of Troy. It’s not random vandalism or a rejection of the goddess. It’s pure hubris and the chaos of victory: the same men who prayed to Athena for victory still desecrate her sacred space and slaughter her devotee the moment they win. That act becomes the root of Odysseus’s guilt. The “Athena” who later appears to him throughout the journey is either the goddess taking the face of the slain priestess to haunt him… or (as Nolan himself leans) a psychological manifestation of the war crime he can’t escape. Either way, the statue’s head coming off isn’t about them not worshipping her it’s the visual proof that they betrayed everything she stands for.

PETER PAN SYNDROME: he mentally believes himself to be a child and sees himself in Peter Pan. Peter Pan was called "the boy who never grows up", sadly Michael never had any childhood so he could relate to Peter Pan. Michael was like a child trapped in an adults body. EATING DIFFICULTIES: He was known to eat very small portions and had limited diet. He sometimes refused to eat while rehearsing for concerts which lead to Excess lose of weight. Sometimes his closest friend Elizabeth Taylor used to feed him. INSOMNIA: durning Michael's whole lifetime he struggled with deep insomnia, meaning he struggled with staying and falling asleep. He reportedly went many nights with little or no sleep especially durning his depression. His anxiety, stress of fame, the press or constant work made it hard for him. MISUNDERSTOOD /LONELINESS & DEPRESSION: even with high fame he still felt lonely due to being misunderstood by many people. He had a few real friends standing by his side during depression and his family. This lonliness made him feel worse and he struggled a lot with depression. VITILIGO & LUPUS: Michael Jackson had both skin conditions called vitiligo and lupus. Vitligo causes the skin to turn into a lighter shade and he couldn't do anything about it. Lupus causes redness on the skin and adds'on sensitivity from the sun. Michael used masks, hats and umbrellas to help his vitiligo and lupus from getting worse.
It’s crazy how Michael Jackson was making the world happy while battling severe mental health and struggles.
