"Most Americans stand with Ukraine as it defends itself against Russia... and want to see the U.S. offer more assistance to Ukraine. Few wars in recent history have been so black-and-white: Russia is the guilty party that invaded" Ukraine w/o cause. Ukraine is defending freedom.
The United States should stand unequivocally with Ukraine against Russia, David J. Kramer, John Herbst, and William Taylor argue. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/1…

Thanks to @sejorg for sharing this Q&A about my path into the SEJ award story about sand trafficking. It highlights a larger issue of a convergence between organized crime and environmental crime. I hope the story is a starting point for others looking into this area. @UNICRI

While observing the universe, @NASAHubble caught a galaxy cluster smiling for the camera. 😊 The smile lines are arcs caused by an effect known as gravitational lensing, where massive structures warp spacetime with their powerful gravitational forces and act as a cosmic lens.

As a member of the American Academy of Arts and Science @americanacad I ask all members to raise their voices against the war against civilians and institutions, American business’s and ask @potus to take back the invitation to Putin to the G20….
A Russian strike against the building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. A rescue operation is underway: crews are putting out the fire and searching for people who may have been trapped inside. All services are deployed. Today in Kyiv, a pharmaceutical company and gas stations were also attacked; in Dnipro, a business center; and in other cities and regions, civilian facilities, businesses, and communications infrastructure were targeted as well. Sadly, people have been killed… My condolences to their families and loved ones. Russia will definitely face a response to this. And every one of Ukraine’s partners must see from this terror, from these strikes, that supporting Ukraine means truly supporting people’s lives – supporting the principle that terror must never be normalized, anywhere. Russia must be held accountable for all of this and face real consequences. I thank everyone who helps Ukraine!
