Had a bit of fun with #orclapex 20.2 today with the new cards region. Perfect excuse to get some guitars out. Now back to some analytics work.
I created a short article on Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence augmentation datavizmark.com/augmenting-f… #FDI #OrclAnalytics
I'll be getting some help from my #GenAi assistant too!

Experiment calling #GenAi #Vector search in #OAC on #Oracle23ai by using a parameter, a custom calculation using evaluate to call a function and an action to call a popup to display the results.
I love using #OrclAnalytics for visualizations. Come and see us at booth 44 at #OCW in Las Vegas where we can discuss how we make it easy to get the data you want from Oracle Cloud Applications and then do what you need with it ... from Viz to Applications #cloudworld #OAC
Really looking forward to attending Oracle CloudWorld #OCW24 in #LasVegas especially as this year we are at booth #90 in The Hub. Also of course looking forward to seeing other #OracleACE members and attending some sessions (when I am not on the stand!).

Dataset "upsert" in #OrclAnalytics is a cool feature explained by Joel.
Just published a blog post on the improved dataset caching feature in Oracle Analytics Cloud's July 2024 update! This enhancement boosts performance and user experience. Check it out: elffar.co.uk/blog/dataset-ca… #oracleanalytics
I asked my #orclAPEX #GenAI assistant questions about guitars - after it built me a guitar app of course. Is it easy? Yes. Find out here datavizmark.com/first-look-a… #OracleCloud #APEX #GenAI

Connected #OracleAnalytics #OAC to #GenAi to ask questions. Created a prompt and a calculation to call "evaluate" to call a function on my #OracleADW #23ai which calls dbms_cloud_ai.generate to create and run SQL and returns a number to show in a Tile. Viz to check result.
Tweaked my tiny #orclAPEX app that uses #GenAI to create queries against my #Oracle23ai #Autonomous DB as I added an extra table so now I can get location based queries in natural language - and asking multiple questions at once. #Analytics #OCI
