3:30 am and I'm thinking about arrays in #javascript, how to compare the values of each element to the next element behind it for which is higher in value. Sorted and unsorted. Sigh
🤦 I just want to sleep lol

Coding is more about communicating than computing.
New data: the best predictor of how quickly people learned to code wasn't math or cognitive ability, but language aptitude.
Math skill was almost irrelevant. Coding is mastering a language, not numbers.

If you're stuck on an issue and you solve it, please write about it somewhere. A blog post. A github issue. I don't care where.
Someone else is probably currently experiencing the same issue, and you could save them so much time and frustration by documenting the solution.

If I wanted to use @MongoDB for the first time, and I didn't want to self-host/manage the database myself, then where would I go? What's the best options for a low bandwidth app?
#code vibes - need something calm & relaxing to start my Monday. I have intense deadlines hitting hard & am about to launch a project we have been working on for over a year now. I need to be #chill today.

My girl scout (aged 6) is selling cookies. She needs to sell 34 more boxes to get a special prize (a horse plushy, which she's wild about).
If you need a cookie fix, consider using her special link below and order to have shipped.

👀Looking for desk recommendations.
Must be a stand-sit desk. Will consider both electronic and manual controls.
📸 Photos of your/the desk optional, but always welcomed.

Lol my mum’s been a developer for 40 years. She reverse engineered operating systems during the 80s, and worked for air traffic control systems. She kept literal planes in the air with C++. She’s only heard of GitHub because I date someone who worked there and she is polite.
