As the great Jimmy Dugan once said, and I think it applies aptly here:
"Dozens of people are waiting for the game to start."

“Yes, Dave.”
“And you lost to the Brewers in the playoffs?”
“That’s correct, Dave.”

Breaking: #Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is out for Sunday due to a superficial blood clot.
Full statement from the #Eagles on QB Jalen Hurts:
“On Thursday, October 8th, Jalen visited the training room after practice requesting treatment for his calf. He informed the medical staff he had been cleated during the Rams game on October 4th. This was his first treatment session for the calf injury following the game, after having practiced in full both Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, Jalen received treatment, practiced in full, and was added to the practice report.
“Out of an abundance of caution, an ultrasound was performed on Saturday following the team’s flight to London and walkthrough. The ultrasound revealed a superficial blood clot. Our medical staff and doctors in London reviewed the results and concluded that activity and mobility were important and that Jalen could safely play. Doctors recommended a follow-up ultrasound within 72 hours of the game and the return flight to Philadelphia.
“Jalen played without limitation in the game Sunday, received treatment on Monday and Tuesday, and practiced in full on Wednesday, as reflected in the practice report. Throughout our time in London and this week, we have remained in communication with the league office regarding the matter.
"On Wednesday night, a follow-up ultrasound revealed movement in the small blood clot. Jalen will be out for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers as we determine the appropriate course of treatment. His health and safety are our highest priority.”

Looking at NextGen stats:
In the first quarter, first drive of the game yesterday, Brock Purdy hit Mike Evans on a 13-yard pass on 3rd and 7. The next play, he found him for a 2-yard TD.
Those two completions were the 2nd and 3rd most improbable completions of all Week 5 games and two of the top 12 most improbable of the entire season.

Today has been one of the hardest days, anyone who knows me is aware of how much I love our Dog & we had to tell him we love you for the last time. Buster was the best dog & brought so much love to our home. Im not really good at expressing feelings but I’m going to try

Thought Seattle's defense was supposed to be the cheat code. Turns out it's San Francisco's.

The 49ers are the only Tier 1 team in football.
Their offense remains the best in the NFL, their defense is staying afloat (it did more than that Sunday), and their special teams (not represented here) also provided a winning difference

The gap between #1 Brock Purdy and #2 is bigger than the gap between #2 and 10.
Through one month, the MVP race is not close. Now the real fun begins
Replying to @DaveKluge
My apologies. I thought this had already been updated for all of Week 4.
