ALT Flowering and fruiting phenology are valuable indicators of plant health, biodiversity, and resource availability for local and migratory organisms, while also potentially influencing biogeochemical cycles. Remote sensing allows us to move from the plant to broader spatial scales, however, unique challenges arise in capturing and characterizing reproductive phenology that require a diverse set of methods, sensors, and products (e.g. the eyes of a citizen scientist, flux towers, Phenocams, drones, satellites). We welcome submissions from researchers who leverage and translate remotely sensed metrics across spatial and temporal scales and existing data networks to capture reproductive phenology for broad applications. In particular, we are interested in research that addresses these questions: Can we detect reproductive phenology directly and at what scales? What are appropriate surrogates for reproductive phenology (e.g. climate, greenness)?
