Another incredible vote blue no matter who moment 👍🏼
James Carville says he'd rather have Republicans keep control of the House than Democrats winning the chamber by 5 seats.
"I would rather the Republicans keep the House by five than the Democrats win by five, because if that happens, they’re hostage to the DSA. Like, Hakeem cannot move. There’s no place for him to go."

We tried protesting like the French in 2020 but they called us savages for tearing up a cvs. Then jan 6 happened and pardons were given for actual treason. Point blank period is that until white people start tearing up shit nothing will change lmao.

The greatest victory of the modern ruling class is convincing the public that rebellion, resistance, and protest are the hallmarks of barbarism, while submission, obedience, and humility are the virtues of civilized societies
Whereas the truth is exactly the opposite

Hiding behind the perception that astrology is tied to womanhood in order to defend the practice and make it sacred is, itself, reactionary.
But in all seriousness, the reaction from Japanese One Piece fans to people using the Straw Hat Jolly Roger in protests has been genuinely pissing me off. So many of them are more concerned about people bringing One Piece into real-life politics, calling it dangerous rhetoric and worrying that the series could get banned in certain countries, than they are about WHY people are even using it in the first place.
And I think this perfectly highlights the disconnect between Japanese fans and international fans. For some of them, One Piece is a manga they love and want to protect from controversy. For a lot of us, its themes of oppression, corruption, government tyranny and the fight for freedom hit a little closer to home. Some of us have lived through these things. Some of us have watched our families and loved ones suffer and die because of corrupt governments and injustice.
They can afford to treat these themes as fiction because they don’t necessarily have to relate them to their own reality. But when people who have experienced these things firsthand see the Straw Hat flag as a symbol of resistance and freedom, why is they’re first reaction to police how other fans use it rather than understand why it resonates with them in the first place?
And that’s what bothers me. Instead of trying to understand why people from completely different backgrounds see themselves in this story, they’re dismissing it as dangerous political rhetoric that might get one piece banned in these countries

I can't tell if he doesn't see the difference or if he is just saving face.
When you play COD is it for gameplay, graphics, mechanics, story, or for mocking a fallen soldier or a veteran with PTSD?
Now ask the same about Hood Warfare 2:
Why did you play that game?
Why did you talk in that accent?
Why was that game so fun to play?
Just be as honest here as you were when you said you voted for Trump to make more money, it was more respectable that time

Hiya yeah so - why did you steal my identity for something I 100% did not consent to? 🥴

Hi Neera, the error is with you. You keep talking about private insurance, but the reason Abdul El-Sayed said your plan isn’t the same as his plan is that his is based on auto-enrollment for everyone, and yours isn’t. Watch the clip. Listen to his quote. Stop attacking the messenger.
But anyways, thanks for doing the show and taking my questions. By the way, I’m still looking for the tweets where you said you condemned Pastor Lorenzo Sewell, Mike Rogers’s extremist pastors. I can’t find them.

I can’t think of any other place in the world where people can regularly attack American citizens, American journalists, like this and our US political and media elites say nothing. No scandal, no outrage, no calls for action or accountability.
BREAKING: Heidi Levine, a photojournalist working in the occupied West Bank with The Washington Post, has sustained injuries along with several others after being attacked by settlers during a pogrom in the village of Abu Falah.

let a black american disrespect someone’s culture and watch how quick “they didn’t know” stops working
I hate how every time I open this app, people are trying to invalidate how Black people feel about our culture being stolen and disrespected. Apparently, we’re supposed to just be okay with people using the N-word because they weren't taught better or "English isn't their first language." Living in America, I took the time to learn about everyone else's culture, so I hate the excuse that other places are "limited" in learning about Black American culture. Seriously, I hate all of you.

I don’t understand how black people in particular don’t see the issue with the game lol. It’s a COD ripoff that uses Chicago as the backdrop, has the characters use Atlanta slang, and uses West Coast gangs for teams. It’s culturally parasitic with no real identity w/o stereotypes
RDC gets HEATED with viewers over plans to play Hood Warfare 2, a COD-style game some call racist for mocking Black crime and stereotypes (and allegedly being made by a white developer). They were open to trying it but FOLDED to the backlash and stopped playing it 😳
“Then we shouldn’t play GTA 6 in November, huh? Like, I don’t understand, y’all n**gas are on some bullsh-t.”
