Our Vision for an Inclusive Kenya.
During our recent Communications and Networking Strategy sessions, we developed frameworks which will allow us to connect grassroots disability organizations across Kenya. We are turning local advocacy into national inclusion and accountability.

We believe that genuine change comes from the grassroots. By empowering local affiliate organizations with the network support they need, we can amplify the voices of Persons with Disabilities all over Kenya.
During our Program Design and Policy Development session, we took decisive steps to operationalize our safeguarding frameworks and data protection protocols. We are ensuring that the voices of PWDs, women, and youth are amplified in an environment free from exploitation .
Key milestones achieved:*
✅ *Institutional Fortification:* Defining clear governance roles from the Board to the MEL team to ensure transparency and evidence-based advocacy.
✅ *Standardization:* Finalizing SOPs for project life cycles to balance burn rates and maximize impact.
The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties and Disability Advocacy and Services Kenya convened in the ORPP's preparedness for the upcoming general election to strengthen political parties and ensure that Persons with Disabilities are at the forefront of civic engagement.
In a recent training at Semara Hotel, Machakos, PWDs from diverse categories were mobilized to understand:
Electoral laws & political party processes.
The Political Parties Fund (0.3% of national revenue allocated to parties, with a 15% share based on Special Interest Groups).
We must build an electoral system that leaves no one behind. Let's ensure the voices of PWDs are not just heard but are represented at every level of political decision-making.

This morning, our CEO Festus Mwanza, Treasurer Ancieta Mueni, and Mr. Vincent Kilonzo held a productive early meeting. Key outcomes:
✅ Green light on supporting DASK’s activities, especially the KCDF P4C matching grant – with strategic guidance from Mr. Vincent.
✅ Explored new collaboration opportunities.
✅ Proposed to bring Mr. Vincent on board as Advisor to the Executive Director – a move we believe will strengthen our impact.
Welcome aboard, Sir Vincent! 🙌Together, we grow.
