Scots podcaster James English has been found guilty of domestically abusing his former partner, including while she was pregnant. The 43-year-old repeatedly attacked the 30-year-old woman at his flat in Glasgow’s Argyle Street and elsewhere between July 2022 and November 2023. The Judge found the victim credible.

Good: A vile serial killer who brought pain and misery to many is dead. His name is not worth remembering 💀💣 The victims should be memorialized: Paula Fields, 31, was killed in London. Parts of her body were found in six holdalls floating in Regent's Canal in Camden in February 2001. Her head, hands and feet were never recovered. Melissa Halstead, 33, from the US, was killed in 1990. Her dismembered body was found in a canal in Rotterdam, but she was not identified for 18 years. He tried to murder his former wife Delia Balmer in 1994. He’s suspected of other murders. There should be a new investigation looking all former partners who went missing.

Judge Rowland’s sentencing remarks in the serial gang r@pists case are utterly breathtaking. He decided that a knife wasn’t used as he looked ‘carefully’ at some of the CCTV. Annabel Rook was more than a Judge’s daughter and wife. This headline doesn’t even name her. Girls and women don’t belong to men. Also he killed her at the point of separation. It’s a high risk factor for women trying to leave controlling men. Clifton George didn’t ’lose control.’ He was TAKING control. This is EXACTLY the issue. I am so sorry about your aunt. I found many near miss attacks on women prior to Wilma McCann's horrific murder. The police could have stopped him far earlier. This was 50 years a go - but the same mistakes are being made. Misogyny is rife and women pay the price. It's time for change.

Stephen McCullagh was sentenced today for Natalie’s murder - he will serve a minimum of 31 years before he can be considered for parole. This doesn’t seem long enough. He planned it in advance and set up a YouTube livestream as an alibi. He staged the 999 call. He’s a risk and danger to all women 💀💣 Natalie was 15 weeks pregnant when she was killed in her Lurgan home in December 2022. Pregnancy is a high risk factor for serious harm and femicide. Homicide by a male partner is the leading cause of death for pregnant women. I posted about Natalie’s horrific murder when it happened to help find the killer. It was my first Crime Analyst YouTube post. I’ll never forget what a DCI from PSNI said when he gave a press conference. He said whoever killed Natalie was not a risk to the public.
