IRL friend of mine didn’t like the RE movie because they thought Bryan was so infuriatingly bad at guns that it made them rage out. Meanwhile I flashed back to every time in RE7 that I got spooked and emptied an entire clip into everything except the monster’s weak points.

I genuinely feel like we need LESS output from everyone right now. In every creative medium. Quality is going down because of rushed work. People are burning out just to keep up. And no one even has time to engage with how much stuff is being made.
