When I picked out a pendant to have some of Mum's ashes put into. I never imagined that just 13 months later I would be collecting something with Dads in it.

So many emotions in one month. Saying good bye to Dad but knowing he's now back with mum. Having to face both their Birthdays and mine without them. But on the other side a lovely 2 day trip to London to watch Moulin Rouge.

Thank you all for the birthday messages, cards and gifts. Today hasn't been the easiest of days but it has shown me how many people love and care for me and without a lot of you I'm not sure I would have made it through the last 12 months.

Thank you to all that have been to Dads funeral today, it's really not been an easy day but I have really felt the love for him and myself. He's now back with mum.

Coming up on 26 years since I did this. It was amazing something I will always remember.
