It's always "support librarians" until they realize we're certified freaks and very radically pro free speech. It's literally in the librarian rules. You have to be like this or they kill you with hammers.

Watching American accounts mock and laugh at the tragic event in Wainwright really makes it difficult to feel bad that some people booed their anthem at a hockey game.
Hey @TexasStars,
That Punnett kid going to see the ice anytime soon?
1-3-1 with 26 goals against. Maybe it’s time to shake things up a little?
I wish @PaulCalandra wasn’t such a snowflake and could handle opinions, feedback, and criticism from the people he is supposed to serve.
Instead, comments are turned off because he’s scared to hear anything that differs from his delusional reality.
What a coward. #onted #onpoli

Thing is @PierrePoilievre , you ARE on foreign soil and you did invite this question by your behaviour
Ergo, you ARE attacking our PM, and that is your only mode of operation
Your whole trip is greasy, unpleasant and reeks of bending the knee to MAGA

I saw this and it pretty much sums it up ....
Poilievre lost the election.
Conservatives didn’t listen.
Voters kicked Poilievre out of his riding.
Conservatives didn’t listen.
5 MPs crossed the floor.
Conservatives didn’t listen.
Poilievre tanked in the polls.
Conservatives didn’t listen.
Pierre lost support in all 3 by-elections.
Conservatives didn’t listen.
Liberals aren’t your problem.
Listening is your problem.

If the Secret Service considers a man wearing a ‘kill your local pedophile’ shirt a threat to the President’s life, your President just might be a pedophile.

Dear Mr. Lutnick,
We no longer engage with bullies so your foolish attempt to strong arm the most qualified economist into a bad deal at the eleventh hour was idiocy of the highest order.
Kindly, fuck off & take Hoekstra back home with you too. Bye 👋🏻
Not sorry,
Canada

Doug Ford is staging announcements with a podium, a banner, and no reporters allowed in the room.
Why? He's scared.
Scared of questions about the jet, the hotel bills, and how much these fake events cost you.
A premier who runs from the people has no business governing them.
The Ford government has increasingly been staging official announcements without inviting the media, limiting reporters’ ability to ask questions during the extended summer break at Queen’s Park.
The opposition says Ford is “running scared.”

Canadian education system is ranked 7th in the world, USA is ranked 31st. Please stop arguing with them on things they refused to learn.
Anything that comes out of @jamiljivani’s mouth “is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury
Signifying nothing.”
Where is @jamiljivani now? His silence speaks volumes.
Jamil Jivani is quick to lecture people about courage, values, and standing up for this country.
But where is that courage now?
A Muslim family in his own riding is being targeted with racist harassment, conspiracy theories, intimidation, and hate and he has nothing to say.
Nothing.
This is the same Canada his own father came to from Kenya for a better life. The same Canada where families should be able to live in peace, raise their children, work hard, and belong without being terrorized by mobs, lies, and xenophobic garbage.
So where is Jamil Jivani now?
Where is his voice when a family in his own backyard is being publicly targeted and vilified because they are Muslim?
Where is his outrage for the people he was elected to represent?
It’s easy to talk tough when you’re chasing headlines. It’s a lot harder to stand up when it actually matters when members of your own community are under attack.
Silence in the face of racism is not leadership. It’s cowardice.
Clarington deserves better than performative patriotism from politicians who go missing the moment hate shows up at home.
Funny how the loudest “Canada is broken” voices keep coming from the provinces with the worst premiers running the show.
Here’s the part people skip: your daily life is run by your province, not Ottawa. Healthcare, schools, hospitals, highways, policing, housing approvals, electricity rates. All provincial jurisdiction. The premier you voted for controls almost everything that actually touches your day to day.
Alberta’s economy gets mismanaged by Smith, healthcare gets gutted, and somehow it’s Ottawa’s fault. Saskatchewan posts some of the worst outcomes on healthcare wait times and education funding in the country, then blames “the Laurentian elite.”
These are the same people who vote for cuts, then complain when the cuts hurt. Vote for underfunded hospitals, then post about ER wait times like it’s a national betrayal. Vote against federal transfers and equalization fixes, then act shocked when their own province can’t deliver services.
If your premier controls your hospital wait time, your kid’s classroom size, and your power bill, and all three are getting worse, that’s not a “Canada is broken” problem. That’s a “you elected this” problem.
The data is right there. Most of the “Canada is failing” energy isn’t coming from a place of national decline. It’s coming from provincial governance failures, dressed up as a federal crisis.
Quick question @PaulCalandra …I thought graduations were to be apolitical events. Why is @RudyCuzzetto dropping off boxes of unsolicited, politically branded grad certificates? #onted #onpoli @TinaYazdani @MaritStiles
