Thanks to UK prices the middle class has stopped buying anything

They have a new spending habit:
It’s called ‘don’t spend anything’  Want a new car? Clean the old one
Want a new house? Tidy the old one
They have a new going out habit
It’s called ‘Staying in’

The middle class didn’t get smarter with money, they have just become the new working class & can’t afford anything anymore

Build a business for 30 years. Hand it to your kids. Healey now wants 45%. Not 24%. 45%. A £1m family firm. £450,000 to the Treasury. Up from £240,000. For passing it to your own children. They'll call it closing a loophole. I call it Labour stealing your life’s work.

The one thing most people - and almost all businesses- crave, is stability. The idea that the UK will benefit from reopening one of the most divisive chapters in modern British history would be good for this country is insane. What do these people think would happen?  Even before the vote itself, we’d face more years of rage and paralysis while the country prepares to decide, not to mention the subsequent years of chaos as our status is renegotiated if govt tries to take us back in. I supported Brexit. But if the vote had gone the other way, I - and I think most people I know - would have accepted the result and worked to ensure we got the absolute most from our membership of the EU. I just assumed the Remain side would do the same.
