Tesla FSD, Full Self Driving…. If you haven’t experienced it, you probably don’t understand how good it has become. I have had SO MANY perfect point to point trips without touching a thing! It is magical. Kudos to Elon and an amazing team of talented engineers for making a Sci Fi future reality. These clips were recorded back to back and I promise it was 100% hands off the wheel and feet off the pedals… First, the robot car 🚗 was courteous to an exiting vehicle, it judged the traffic, understanding that it was possible for them to get over 4 lanes😲 Second clip… Right around the corner, it received a quick payback, as it figured out precisely how to accept the courtesy of others. 😄 Don’t believe the negative headlines. I am 100% convinced that Tesla is revolutionizing transportation with self driving cars and the upcoming Robo-Taxi. No other car company is close, as Tesla has over 1 billion miles of training data collected from millions of cars already on the road. They will have spent over $20 billion by the end of this year on the computers that process this information. Not to mention over a quarter trillion dollars worth of vehicles that all individually contain a super computer that contributes to this network.  Yes, I’m aware of other self driving vehicles, but they are all very expensive, public transportation only vehicles, laden with ridiculous external sensors, and are very limited to select cities and geofenced service areas. A Tesla can now go basically ANYWHERE in the country automatically. Yes, you still have to keep your eyes on the road, but that will definitely be changing sooner than you think. The rate of improvement just over the last few weeks has been shocking and it will continue to accelerate.  I consider myself a gearhead and I will always have a love of noisy, dirty, smelly combustion engine vehicles. I have enjoyed understanding how they work and working on them since I was a kid. I have also always been fascinated with the latest technology and this is the most amazing consumer technology I have ever seen. If you’re looking for a new car, forget what negative ideas you may currently believe about EV’s and open your mind to the possibility. You can now lease a Tesla for under $300/ month and add a full-time chauffeur that has 8 eyes and superhuman abilities for $99. Your fuel savings alone will likely cover most of that. No, I’m not being paid for this message 🤣
