ALT Bernie Sanders treats an AI model like a nuclear weapon. That is the con. A warhead is a countable object in a known silo. Inspectors can verify it. A laptop running a model is not a missile inventory. You cannot freeze “minds” the way you freeze launchers. Sanders still writes the same architecture: ban superintelligence, pause training, Department of AI, prison if you finish. He cannot tell the difference because the difference would ruin the bill. If the thing on the desk is a tool, you build more of it. If it is a bomb, you staff a ministry. He needs the bomb. The ministry is the point.

People say this because instead of understanding how things actually work, they impose unearned guilt to demand sacrificial offerings, with little regard for whether it makes the poor worse off.
Worse, some know it will. Their concern isn't loving the poor but virtue-signaling their hatred of the rich.
So the poor become props: regurgitate economic nonsense, punish success, damage prosperity, then call the resulting sacrifice compassion.

SpaceX has introduced a new website for its AI training clusters in Tennessee/Mississippi.
New info:
• Tesla Megapacks will provide 3.3 GWh to Colossus 2, enough to power Memphis for two hours, making it America’s largest grid-connected battery pack.
• SpaceX has invested millions of dollars in sound walls, silencers, and next-gen turbines with advanced quieting technologies.
• Since joining the community in 2024, SpaceXAI is investing more than $90 billion in the region. Estimated 2026 tax revenue will be $60M+
• 7,500 local jobs supported
• SpaceXAI is investing $360 million, at no cost to the city, in a clean water recycling plant. It is designed to process up to 10 million gallons of wastewater a day and would offset ~3.64 billion gallons a year from the Memphis Aquifer.
• In Memphis, SpaceXAI is investing $35 million in a 150 MW substation to support MLGW and another $20 million in a second substation. Both come online at no cost to MLGW or homeowners.
• Temporary power is coming off. Under an agreed order with the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, all remaining temporary turbines must be removed by July 2027. SpaceXAI is already taking units offline and expects to complete removal well ahead of that deadline.

Ce qui compte réellement, ce sont les actions collectives, les lois, les programmes publics, la prévention.
Aux yeux d'un gauchiste, la lutte collective est 100x plus importante que le comportement individuel.
Et justement, souvent à leurs yeux, le fait de prêcher la bonne parole les dispense moralement de se comporter correctement en privé.
Ils ont sentiment de faire suffisamment le bien par leur combat public et cela contrebalance 100x le mal qu'ils pourraient faire en privé.
Et même s'ils devaient admettre leur faute, ça resterait la faute de la société, des riches, de leur éducation, ou de leur enfance.
Donc un combat collectif à mener pour que ça ne se reproduise plus au lieu d'une faute individuelle à expier.
Ils ont le cerveau à l'envers.
Ils ont renoncé à l'individu et au libre arbitre comme élément fondamental de la vie en commun.

I recently had a conversation with a NASA JPL engineer that was bemoaning the fact that the internal “Planetary Protection” department at NASA threw up substantial roadblocks for Mars missions in the name of protecting the pristine Martian environment. They will surely be apoplectic about this.
I kind of think we should just get it over with and empty a septic tank on mars so nobody can imagine it needs dedicated protection. Project Vandalize Mars.

After nine years of search, the privately funded “Project Callisto” found no evidence for cold fusion.
The project began in 2015 and set out to test claims that deuterium (a heavy isotope of hydrogen), can undergo nuclear reactions inside palladium and release excess heat at relatively low temperatures. This hypothetical process is commonly referred to as “cold fusion” or “low energy nuclear reactions” (LENR).
The project engaged more than 100 researchers and reproduced the major experiments. They tested more than 500 samples, developed equipment that forced deuterium into palladium at high pressure, tried heating, adding electric fields, and using laser pulses to trigger reactions. None of these attempts produced unexplained heat or any convincing nuclear signals. Apparent excess heat was caused instead by chemical processes, such as a recombination of hydrogen and oxygen.
The researchers conclude “We found no evidence for any variety of cold fusion phenomenon,” although they acknowledge that they have not tested every possible material and condition.
The just released report does not reveal the funding source, but circumstantial evidence suggests that the project was related to Bill Gates. Several participants of the project have previously had their research funded by Gates, and he has a documented interest in cold fusion.

Not sure what you mean by America’s space program being above politics. Leadership has been politically appointed since inception, national space policy is established by the executive branch, oversight and funding come from Congress, and industry lobbies everyone extensively. I would say it has always been very political, and if you love America’s space program, being politically savvy is an asset. I have also donated $30 million to charity this year, which is also not illegal.
