Still 0.3 is out: a new look and a new icon for my local-first password manager for Mac.
Your secrets stay on your Mac. Nothing leaves. Encrypted on device, copied secrets cleared after 30 s, locks itself when you step away.

two tokens can both say NVDA and be different things.
one is a share-backed token that onboarded holders can redeem. the other is a contract you can never turn into a share.
price doesn't show which. Parity's registry does, for 18 of 47 tokens: github.com/dan-build/parity/…
A CoinMarketCap call can come back HTTP 200, no error, no price in it.
Parity's drift check caught it in its first day: gold and silver lost their spot price in 2 of 4 live runs. A minute later, the same call worked.

found a bug in still where a password ending in a space got saved wrong. the app quietly trimmed spaces before encrypting. you'd only find out when the copied password didn't work. fixed in v0.1.1, with a test that failed before the fix.
v0.1.1 is out with all the data-loss fixes. first universal mac build, built in github actions from the public source, with a sha-256 checksum. no account, no sync, never goes online. mit. link below.

almost shipped a bug where two gold tokens looked 97% cheaper than all the others.
turns out they're priced per gram, the rest per troy ounce. nothing in the api says which.
parity now spots it, converts it, and shows the math.
spent two days adding zero features to still. just tests, ci on mac windows and linux, and a real vault that every future change has to unlock
boring week but now i can rebuild it without breaking anyones data
i have been working lately on a side project, rebuilding it and redesigning. its an opensource one, that i believe could be one of the best out there as a personal safe box
i have been stuck on problem and cant seem to solve it yet. i dont want it just done but rather solve it then move past it. seems its a hard task or maybe im overthinking it. either way im having fun.

Type a ticker, see every token that claims to be that asset on one price scale, and whether you could actually sell it.
