Just a guy building some stuff. CTO/ Co-Founder @getclera

Joined October 2019
We raised $3M pre-seed and moved to SF. AI is coming for your job. Maybe in 5 years. Maybe in 15. Nobody knows. But we know this: no great career move ever came from a job board. They came from someone saying “you two should meet.” That’s what @getclera does.

we've caught hundreds of fake candidates at clera so far. launching fake candidate detection. starting today we check your applicants too. no need to waste interviews on candidates pretending they are someone else. DM for early access! – at San Francisco, CA

we benchmarked the leading managed postgres services. repo is open source if you wanna dig in. if you’re into databases, hit me up 🤝
When @getclera needed a new home for their 500 GB production Postgres database, they evaluated four managed service providers. See why @ClickHouseDB Managed Postgres won easily, and how Clera moved 500+ tables from the EU to the US overnight 👇 clickhouse.com/blog/clera-mi…

Why it costs more: the per-token price is a third lower, but the same prompt uses about 47% more input tokens (5.5 counts tokens differently) and the answers are about 2.6× longer. Net, about 55–60% more per call.

11/11 @getclera building an AI talent agent that connects exceptional people with startups where they can thrive, matching them with roles that fit their experience, ambitions, and preferences. They migrated a 500 GB+ Postgres database to ClickHouse Managed Postgres within a day and are seeing significantly improved performance and reliability. Their CTO @danwintermeyer and founding engineer Julian shared the migration story at our SF meetup. Hear it directly from the team building the product: youtube.com/watch?v=WfHvJJ0i…

We’ve already responded to you numerous times via DM on different social media platforms. The response isn’t going to magically change just because you’re asking the same question on X now. /Flo

ok, coding is solved: github.com/winkelmeyer/sc2-a…
my attempt at Astra + Jev on StarCraft II. Astra writes the plan once before the fight. Every squad and key unit gets its own Jev, deciding about twice a second. RTS turns out to be a pretty great testbed for this.

It's not the market. Roles for experienced people are going up. The system that matches people to them is broken.

What works today is an intro. A headhunter who actually knows the hiring manager gets you in the room. Cold applying doesn't. That part of hiring stays. What goes away is the human spending 40 hours a week sourcing on LinkedIn to find you.

That's what we're building at Clera: the intro without the job board. If you're looking right now: 1. Stop mass-applying. 2. Find someone with real relationships at your 5 target companies. 3. Get the intro.
21
@Polymarket, list these and we'll take YES: 1. No human recruiters left in 2030 2. No job boards left in 2030

Why I'm confident: the cold application is already dead. Hundreds of applicants per role, most filtered by keyword, nobody reads them. Job boards are a pile of noise and everyone knows it.
