Should add - Nuge…one of the greatest to wear the jersey ever - doing his thing. Long live Nuge.

Who knows where it goes but Oilers fans are seeing the best hockey McDavid has ever played, exceptional starts from Draisaitl and Bouchard and getting some saves from Levi… It’s fun to watch :)

Shootout tonight is a damn crime against hockey.

Bottom 6 absolutely caved in tonight by Carolina. Gutsy to have them on the ice in that situation. Didn’t work out.

A career-long 58-yard FG from Bears kicker Cairo Santos — and a gutsy decision from HC Ben Johnson.

That doesn’t look good for Ekholm. These injuries, man. Cmon.

Walman continues to be in a giving mood.

Carolina is really, really good. Let’s not give them too many more gifts, eh?

Great goaltending both sides tonight. Sensational hockey game.

Wow. Bold strategy by Minnesota. Skate around with the puck doing nothing for 2 minutes and then take a Too Many Men penalty.

Heck of a game. Levi tremendous in regulation. Oilers team game excellent for 40 minutes. The Wild are damn good. Their top guys have put on a clinic tonight. 3 on 3 should be fun.

That’s a tough couple goals against. Not sure why Bouchard drifts aimlessly outside the dots on the 2nd one and nobody on the ice has any clue what’s going on for that 3rd one.

It happens when you play a full period on your heels. A truly excellent 40 for Edmonton gave way to a very underwhelming 3rd period so far. Time for a game breaker…

Doesn’t pay to beak at some officials. The unprofessional and very petty ones will call you for something marginal later on.

It needs to be said: Stauff looks great.

They’ll win a lot of hockey games with periods like that.

Edmonton is playing tremendous hockey. Wallstedt has all the answers.
