The images of a firebombed synagogue with people inside in Melbourne, Australia are simply numbing. There is a desperate need for political leadership to confront antisemitic hate and violence but too many are seemingly unwilling to lead with real action. xitter.cf/OsherFeldman/status/18…

If I was a current @OsgoodeNews law student, I'd try to get my money back.
There is good reason to believe that Sinwar was, in fact, murdered by the IDF. Rather than celebrating death using inflammatory language of "elimination", Canada should be demanding that Israel comply with an independent investigation into the circumstances of Sinwar's death. 🧵

We need a property tax reassessment ASAP.
Here's a doozy office building sale in the financial core of downtown Toronto. In 2015: 70 York Street was sold for $110,000,000 by Brookfield to a private investor. In 2024: 70 York Street was just sold for $65,000,000 to Kingsett 70 York is a 194,000 SF office building that included a leasehold interest and fee simple interest in the transaction. This represents a 41% decrease in value, and a good buy for Kingsett.
