There is some solace in seeing those 5-15 years younger than me not understanding the memes surrounding Kamala. I get them, but only because I have two teenagers and learning their ever-changing language and culture is a great way to be a connected parent.
Having spent 20 years working on this issue in RI, what strikes me the most is that no one is talking about the cost to enrollees and small businesses that are footing the bill for a system that can't seem to control its expense problem.

Stark Law question: Went to ED with eye infection. Verbal discharge instructions were to follow-up with Opthy. Called Opthy, will only schedule with referral (have them fax it!). Called ED. ED said they will only refer to in-hospital eye clinic. Isn't that self-referring?
