@matthewstoller 1/A fun one from Canada readthepeak.com. What happened: Sleep Country is paying US$20.6 million for the Canadian assets of US mattress company Casper, which pioneered the now-popular mattress-in-a-box biz model.

4/Why it’s happening: With Casper and Endy, Sleep Country can target younger shoppers at competing price points. The price of an Endy mattress tops out at ~$1,450, and Casper offers options upwards of $5,000.

5/Bottom line: Sleep Country’s famous jingle asks, “Why buy a mattress anywhere else?”  These days, maybe they could change it to, “Can you even buy a mattress anywhere else?”—QH

@JenOConnell_ 4/You've done well by the Pickering taxpayer going from earning a generous $167,400 (avg earner 33,920) when you were first elected to >$205,000 + allowances and expenses now (median Can earns $39,500). Your in the top 2% of all Canadians in earnings.

Why can't you deal with the Election issue in an adult way? Why don't we have a registry of foreign agents? All Canadians should be concerned and I trust Bob Fife more that I trust you ethically challenged boss.

#IstandwithTrudea Say anything to get into power, do anything to stay in power 'cause if the CPC gets in women will have to have babies that will be armed with assault rifles and rich people will subsidize our healthcare!

The Equalities Minister could not have been clearer: Black Lives Matter and Critical Race Theory are political and do not belong in schools. Teaching ideas such as 'white privilege' as a factual reality is breaking the law! 🚫👨‍🏫

I hoped--no I still hope $BCLI works, but it is beginning to smell like another POS bio that produces more BS than results. Last time I invest in an Israeli Bio -- been burned just too many time. Maybe they should call it Onurown.

@ScottWapnerCNBC you think you people would understand capitalism. When the shit hits the fan the hedge funds and banks get bailed out regardless of how badly they ran their firms. Mainstreet can go broke but not APO or BLK? Corporate socialism is ok. Risk doesn't matter.

@ScottWapnerCNBC So do those bailed out own the taxpayers anything for the bailouts? Do we get shares? board seats? Dividends to repay the bailout? I'm retired and living off my investments and I bailed out of risky reits. Can I get my money back now that there is no risk?

Ah @AmericanExpress your concern is heartwarming. Thank you, in these trying times, for ensure you get your money from me on time.

De Adder’s Take: 02-12-2020 hilltimes.com/2008/01/07/add… via @thehilltimes. I think Michael De Adder underestimates how much of Trudeau's obsession is the same as Trumps. This is not about Canada but about the Trudeau legacy. #Trudeau #deadder

I'm not running to lead the Conservative Party. I'm too lazy, uninterested and not a party member. Plus I can't afford it.

Compare the $ziop executives bailing on shares to the $ESPR executives buying at 1 year high.
