Hi friends. I have recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer. I’m still learning more about what lies ahead and what kind of treatment I’ll get, but it does appear that it is aggressive in nature and will require a multi-pronged approach.
I’m doing OK at the moment but it’s overwhelming at times.
If you’re the praying type, I’d love your prayers for healing and for the right doctors to help cure me. If you’re not, thoughts, hopes and positive vibes would be great.
The UK edition of @Jeopardy started today with the delightful @stephenfry; one category was “Men Called Ken”. Sadly, @KenJennings didn’t make the cut.

@AsteadWH Loved your Clallam Co episode on @TheRunUpNYT. Interestingly, Clallam’s (and my) congressman, a D centrist, announced yesterday he wouldn’t run for reelection in 2024. You should interview him for a future ep.
U.S. Democratic Rep. Derek Kilmer announced Thursday he won’t run next year for reelection, setting off what could be a scramble as a rare Washington congressional seat opens up.

Which makes it doubly painful to know the hateful, sexist comments she receives on a daily basis. She is the consummate pro and @wbd is damn fortunate to have her. You rock, @SportsOrla. 🤜🤛
Just rewatched the Stage 17 post-race Breakaway show on @eurosport and was struck by what a total pro @SportsOrla is at her job. She makes it look easy, when it’s anything but. #LaVuelta23
Look @romanmars, a desire path!
Cycling Twitter: where have you migrated to? I would love some suggestions or shared experiences to figure things out.

@trufelman Your gorpcore article refunded me of a fixation I had in the late 70s as a young outdoors-loving teen: I could make my own down jacket. kunc.org/business/2015-12-29…
