This week The Daily called #FreedomConvoy an "American-style protest" and @porterthereport told @mikiebarb that calling for freedom is "un-Canadian". The word "free" is in Canada's national anthem, twice. +

For any of my non-Canadian followers: today is Canada Day. We usually wear red and white and BBQ and go to the beach and set off fireworks. It’s our Fourth of July. I got engaged in Canada Day in 2017 so it’s also an extra special day for me. But not this year. 1/8

Dr. Njoo says it's "practically impossible" to prevent variants from coming into Canada when asked about stopping flights from India. This is very Canadian complacency. Of course it's incredibly hard. I'm not sure why that means we shouldn't throw up as many barriers as possible
