🚨ICE DELETES TWEET ABOUT PARTNERSHIP WITH TRADEXYZ ON HYPERLIQUID U.S. PERPS! NYSE parent company @ICE_Markets has deleted its post about the collaboration with @tradexyz, aimed at bringing Hyperliquid perpetual products to the U.S. market. The Binance hacker might have just pulled off one of the smartest moves I’ve seen in crypto. First, Tether froze $1.5 billion in USDT. Then Circle froze another $800 million in USDC. At that point, it looked like the hacker’s money was trapped. But apparently, he had already planned for that. Instead of holding the stolen USDT in a wallet, he allegedly deposited it into Aave and used it as collateral to borrow ETH. Then he walked away. That’s where the story gets crazy. Tether can freeze the USDT sitting in the wallet. But it can’t freeze the ETH he already borrowed. So now Aave is left holding frozen collateral, while the hacker is sitting on liquid ETH. And unless the protocol can recover it somehow, he may not even need to pay the loan back. Two companies froze billions of dollars in seconds. But someone who understood how to use DeFi may have found a way around both of them. Pretty insane when you think about it.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The frozen $1.5B+ USDT and $800M+ USDC were held in the attacker's main wallet (shown in the post's image), not Aave. Only ~$60M USDT from a related wallet was deposited into Aave pre-freeze to borrow ~$45M ETH. governance.aave.com/t/binance-hot-… decrypt.co/382191/binance… coinstats.app/news/1f0734d0f…

bro that's Ai level there, no doubt
ATTACKERS REPORTEDLY EXPLOITED ETHEREUM’S EIP-7702 TO DRAIN BINANCE WALLETS On-chain analysis suggests attackers obtained signed authorizations allowing them to install malicious code on Binance-linked wallets without directly accessing their private keys. The attackers then used a function called “sweep” to transfer ETH and dozens of tokens into an attacker-controlled wallet. The same delegated permissions were reportedly used to move another $780 million in USDC from a separate Binance hot wallet. The attacker’s transaction relayer was funded through Tornado Cash, while nearly 195,460 ETH was subsequently transferred to a newly created wallet. How the attackers obtained the authorizations remains unknown. Binance says user funds are safe and is investigating.

User funds are safe! It does look like a hack on Binance. Appreciate the quick freeze from Tether (~$971m) and Circle (~$823m). I don't manage Binance (.com) anymore, but as a shareholder, I expect all user funds will be fully covered.

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and trade[XYZ] have announced their plan to use Hyperliquid as the infrastructure layer to deploy perpetual futures markets for US traders across crypto, equities, commodities, foreign exchange, and other real-world assets, subject to regulatory approvals. ICE operates NYSE and some of the largest exchanges and clearing houses globally. In this structure: + Hyperliquid serves as the underlying technology infrastructure via HIP-3* + trade[XYZ] designs and implements the markets + ICE operates the regulated market and clearing structure Existing trade[XYZ] HIP-3 markets will remain unchanged. Hyperliquid is a neutral infrastructure layer with the goal of supporting large parts of the financial system. As with HIP-3, HIP-3* deployers are independent operators who use Hyperliquid as the onchain infrastructure layer for their own markets, while retaining control and responsibility over their deployment.

you see how even pearl-2:native is "controversial"? and you think we gonna blink because some people say shit about $noid , every project is like that, and every project evolve with time and experience. @brezshares gave a good answer about that tweet by the way
not officially confirmed, but @TheMarker, israel's main business paper, is reporting that @prlnet's lab raised $130M from lightspeed, ribbit capital, and square peg. $55M in equity and $75M for a fund to build out GPU infrastructure. ribbit and lightspeed are also named as pearl backers on its profile in greenfield partners' disruptors 60 list. if this is real, the $PEARL bear case gets a lot worse. here's why: 1) $PEARL traded on a "no VCs, fair launch" story. pearl's code doesn't allocate tokens to founders or investors, and that part is probably still true. but the lab behind pearl is reportedly VC-backed, and nobody corrected the narrative while it pumped. 2) the value goes to the equity, not the token. the lab sells inference and gets paid in USD, and the VCs own the lab. $PEARL holders don't get any of that revenue, just diluted by new supply. so the investors can do well even if $PEARL goes to zero. 3) it goes against the "sovereignless bitcoin" pitch. part of bitcoin's monetary premium is that no company controls it. pearl's upgrades are drafted by a VC-backed lab, including the FP8 fork that would tie mining more closely to inference, the same business the lab sells. 4) the $75M GPU fund. we don't know if those GPUs mine $PEARL. if they do, the company is collecting a share of ~85% supply growth this year, on top of whatever insiders mined early. remember that about 1/3 of today's supply was mined in the first 6 days. 5) zcash had investors too (20% of its early block rewards went to founders and investors) but that was public from day 1. everyone knew who got paid and how much. pearl hasn't disclosed any of that. holders deserve to know: > who invested > whether any investors or insiders hold $PEARL > whether the GPU fund mines $PEARL a fair launch shouldn't need a newspaper to tell you who's behind it. i was a $PEARL bear on friday. i'm a bigger one now.

considering the market suffering right now, it's amazing how aster-2:native isnt dumping like the whole market is. We just need a good pump, that's the only thing missing, but aster-2:native is pretty solid coin
43
people finally realizing pumpfun killed crypto, i'd even say pumpfun AAANNND SOLANA(no offense) killed this space. We need a new start, free from @Pumpfun , from solana memecoins etc... people are not thinking anymore, they just do the same things(pumpfun, memecoins)to get money
crazy how two of the biggest KOLs with the most aura in the trenches managed to lose it all with $ANSEM and $KIMCHI ngl Pumpfun might actually be the main reason crypto is dying we desperately need something else to rotate into this shit is getting embarrassing

people saying with aster-2:native unlocks(75 million tokens ?) coming in november, the price will dump hard and the 1,4 million buyback doesnt prevent that. What if we at 1$ in november ? lmao the only thing preventing a dump in november, is a break out right now in october
