Proud to contribute to today’s @BBCNews coverage on recruitment scams.
If you're being asked for significant upfront payments in exchange for employment support, take time to research and seek independent advice.

Bryan Cranston has written a tribute for his ‘Breaking Bad’ on-screen son RJ Mitte who tragically passed away due to suicide.
“We were texting each other just a few weeks ago - figuring out when we could meet for lunch. I don't know if that lunch would have changed his future... But I do know that I loved him.”

Everyone at Nottingham Forest was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of James Kerry on Tuesday morning, following his incredibly brave fight against cancer.
Throughout his illness, James and Morgan shared a beautiful friendship, which meant so much to everyone at the club. James will be remembered with great fondness and will be deeply missed by us all.
Our thoughts, love and deepest sympathies are with James’ parents, Paul and Katie, and his younger brother, Freddie, as they come to terms with their heartbreaking loss.
Rest in peace, James. ❤️

One of the standouts from Ghostface’s 1996 debut Ironman. RZA flips Bob James’ legendary “Nautilus” break into something absolutely frantic, while Ghost, Rae and Cappadonna go nuts over it. And the video, built around footage from the Japanese anime Speed Racer, was the perfect match for the track’s energy. Peak mid-’90s Wu. 🎤🔥🐝👐

33 years ago today, Souls of Mischief released their debut LP, 93 Til Infinity, on Jive/Zomba.
one of my all-time favorite records.
The Source canonized it in 1998 by naming it one of the “100 Greatest Albums of All-Time”. the title track is one of the greatest record flips ever. I spent most of the Fall of 93 wandering around Phily, listening to 93 'til Infinity. 30+ years later, it still triggers long-expired memories. sometimes it’s good to remember what it felt like when you thought you had the potential to conquer the world.

I've been saying this for many years. The deindustrialised areas have been hollowed out & any policy needs to focus on them specifically- general policy about young people and work will only further disadvantage these areas.
⏰ | NEW REPORT: Too much of the debate about NEETs assumes the problem lies with young people. But our new research shows where you live is one of the biggest determinants of your chances of finding work.

Two landlords, and fee paying school users ask you to put international issues in front of class politics.
If you're a working class professional, and one of the few in politics that is NOT a landlord, we want to make you a Labour MP.

Middle class entitled liberals in the media actually believe this 'O Brien is trying to make a point as usual about Farage on the back of class prejudice but the truth is there and stark - people like O'brien are deeply discriminatory & prejudiced towards white working class people.

As Keynes taught us, the task is not to balance the books, but to balance the economy. Amazing how the Labour party has forgotten this lesson.
