1/ i've been collecting things for most of my life.
when i was a kid, it was rocks.
then gems. then watches. then digital art. then physical art.
about a year ago, i bought my first slab.
i realized i hadn't really changed. i just found another thing worth collecting.

the machine ran one last time.
17,689,236 $gmerald bought on the open market and burned today. 22.93% of the supply, gone.
clockworks is retired. every trading fee goes to holders through @ponsdotfamily. gerald can't switch it back. ↓
11/ it's still early.
right now we're starting with sealed TCG product and a very simple redemption system.
next comes slabs. then sourcing. then liquidity.
then we'll see what people actually want.
i'd rather build each layer because the previous one proved there was demand than try to build the entire thing on day one.
12/ i've spent the last few years watching collectibles move from physical → digital → onchain.
i think we're still very early in figuring out what happens when the physical and digital versions can actually work together.
that's what i want to explore with GMERALD. not another gambling machine. a real collectibles business, built onchain.
and i'm just getting started.
