I'm now a member of the #villageboymovement, I am proud to represent the Nigerian upcoming artist chapter!
Thank you @PeterObi and @vbm4po, for this massive opportunity. I'm really grateful for this. 🙏
Nigeria at 66: Looking Back, Looking Forward
Fellow Nigerians,
Today we mark the sixty-sixth anniversary of our independence. It ought to be a day of celebration and thanksgiving to God Almighty for the gift of life and for the immense blessings He has bestowed on our nation—our diversity, our abundant human and natural resources, our vast agricultural potential, and the relative absence of devastating natural disasters.
It should also be a day of appreciation and patriotism: a day to remember our founding fathers and all those who made selfless, and in many cases supreme, sacrifices for the birth, survival and growth of our dear nation. We must acknowledge the efforts of past and present leaders who have laboured, however imperfectly, to build a better Nigeria.
Yet independence anniversaries must never be reduced to mere celebration. They are moments for honest national reflection. We must look back, examine where we stand today, and ask ourselves whether we are moving in the direction our founding fathers envisioned.
In national planning and strategy, every serious nation must continually ask three fundamental questions:
Where are we today?
Where do we want to be?
How do we get from where we are to where we want to be?
These questions are especially urgent now. Despite the enormous promises made by the APC-led government in 2023, our nation continues to face deepening challenges across virtually every critical sector of national life.
Today we stand before the world as a nation:
With an extraordinarily large population living in poverty and severe hardship; over 140M
With one of the largest populations of out-of-school children in the world; over 18M
Where insecurity, terrorism, banditry and kidnapping continue to threaten lives and livelihoods, just recently 37 young Nigerians in their productive age lost their lives
Where millions of Nigerians struggle with hunger and food insecurity; over 40M Nigerians will be in extreme hunger by the end of 2026.
With unacceptably high rates of infant and maternal mortality; Nigeria today is the worst place to be born.
Where youth unemployment and underemployment remain alarmingly high; over 35M
Where drug abuse and substance misuse increasingly threaten our young population; today 14% as against global average of 6%
Where life expectancy remains among the lowest globally, today 54 years against global average of 74 years
And the list goes on.
This reality demands serious, sober and honest reflection. Socrates taught that “the unexamined life is not worth living.” By the same principle, an unexamined nation cannot successfully chart its future. We must therefore ask ourselves: Are we cursed, or have we become the curse through the choices we have made and the failures we have tolerated?
The answer cannot be that Nigeria is cursed. We are a nation immensely endowed and blessed. Our greatest problem is not a lack of resources; it is the failure to convert our enormous resources into human development, productivity, security and shared prosperity.
Only yesterday, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso and I returned from a two-day visit to Sokoto State. We held extensive consultations with people from different parts of the state on insecurity, out-of-school children, poverty, youth unemployment, drug abuse and other challenges confronting our people.
In concluding the visit, we went to the Internally Displaced Persons camp at Ramin Kura within Sokoto metropolis. What we saw was deeply troubling. Thousands of women and children live in deplorable conditions, displaced from their homes and deprived of the basic necessities of life. Many of the children have no access to education. Mothers and children have limited access to basic healthcare. These are Nigerians who should be living in their communities, going to school, farming their land, conducting their businesses and contributing to the economy. Instead, they live as displaced persons in their own country.

Wahab, or is it Ẹ̀ṣọ́?
Your vainglorious bragging about the cost of your wristwatches shows exactly what is important to you. The health of Lagosians, clearly, is not. If it were, you would have led with that.
As a matter of personal choice, one made since 1994, I do not wear wristwatches, or any type of bodily adornment for that matter, mainly because I see it as expensive frivolity.
You're free to continue to indulge in frivolity, as long as it's not on the public dime.
What is more important to ALL Lagosians is that you DO YOUR JOB. For as long as you refuse to, I will do my job as a citizen and keep calling you and your demonic @OfficialAPCNg out. No amount of blackmail, personal insults or fabrications will stop me from doing that.
Lagosians, if you want these sleazebags gone from your lives forever, please join hands with @GRVlagos and I to Make Èkó Great Again.

As for my wristwatches, let me help you and your lazy followers out. I wear two at a time, and the least expensive of them costs no less than $80,000. You should get your facts right - they are worth much more than that.
And just so you know, they are among the finest collections from the Swiss watchmaker Patek Philippe.

I was so close to a primary school mate. We lost contact and 16yrs later someone created a group and added us. I asked if she was there and someone tagged her.
I screamed 'Hi Aminnaaa'
She asked who? I sent my name and a picture She said 'Oh'
Nothing else
Na once my body calm

The reason I hide my excitement in situations like this is because if anyone ever treated me like this, I would never speak to them again
I saw a secondary school classmate in the market recently. She saw me too and just passed. I didn’t even flinch because I noticed she didn’t care.
And before anybody says maybe she didn’t recognize me, nothing about me has changed. My face is still my face, my weight is still my weight, and I only left secondary school like 7 years ago. It’s not even like we haven’t seen each other for 40 years.
So I just decided I’m never making the first move or acting overly excited to see anybody again. I’ll return the energy you give me. If you’re excited to see me, I’ll be excited to see you too. If you’re not, me sef no send you.

Please share widely and inform others!
Tomorrow, Thursday, October 1st, we will flood social media with “Tinubu Must Go.”
Please use this logo. Do not use the logo with Tinubu’s picture. Kindly take note!
We are calling on and advising everyone who wants change in Nigeria to post the “Tinubu Must Go” logo and share it across all social media platforms.
Let us make it clear to Tinubu that we are not satisfied with his administration and that we want change.
Power belongs to the people.

Stay on issues, Hon. Commissioner @tokunbo_wahab. Do the job that you are paid to do. Nobody wants to know that you regularly visit Hard Rock Cafe in VI every last Friday of the month and go to Eko Hotels afterwards with a light-skinned lady. That's your personal life; we don't care what you do with it.
Gbadamosi Babatunde @BOGbadams ,
Just as I told you long ago, you are not worth my attention. You have tried endlessly to get it, but I still will not dignify you with it. I would rather allow you to wail aimlessly.
I do not engage with people like you who could not successfully manage an estate with fewer than 100 residents, yet allegedly attempted to fraudulently take AMEN ESTATE from its female owner, only to eventually be sent packing by her.
Enjoy your few weeks of rehabilitation and skit making with your boy, GRV!

Good. I hope they keep disappointing you people like this.
I know for a fact that if you had gotten the laptop you would have been everywhere on this space making noise about how APC is the best thing after orgasm.
Ntor 😝😝😝😝
They told us to come to school today because @officialABAT and his people were coming to share laptops, money and bags to students.
I didn’t even need laptop.
I just wanted to help my sister get one because she’s about to resume.
So, I got there past 11am for a program that was supposed to start by 10.
Registration here and there. Eventually, the program started around 12.
Few minutes into the program, they announced that the “nominees” for the laptops should get ready.
Nominees???
You told us to come and receive laptops. Nobody told us there would be nominees. Nobody told us to submit anything.
Nobody told us we needed a school letterhead explaining why we needed a PC.
So who nominated who???
I just looked at my friend and said let’s go.
Later, I called someone who stayed behind to ask what happened.
They shared table water and rice.
TABLE WATER AND RICE. 😭
Now here’s the part that is actually annoying me.
They gave us jotters.
They gave us shirts.
They gave us caps.
They printed all sorts of things.
They spent money branding the whole event.
But the laptops they brought?
From what I could see on that table, it wasn’t even up to 50.
If all this money can be spent on shirts, caps, jotters, banners and all the other things we probably didn’t need.
Why not just buy more laptops???
I’m not even saying everybody must get a laptop.
But if you’re going to announce a student laptop distribution program and gather students in school, at least make the actual laptops the main event.
Because how did we go from: “Come and collect laptops”
to “Only nominees should come with a letterhead explaining why they need a laptop”
Peter Obi never forfeited $460000 drug money to the US government unlike your principal. MUMU.

The story of Amen Estate will be told at the appropriate time, and is a personal issue NOT unique to me.
Divorce is not the end of the world, and one of the issues that USUALLY arises out of it is ASSET DISTRIBUTION problems.
Now, let's address your stupidity.
You really think very highly of yourself, for someone so manifestly INCOMPETENT, that you could even think that my concern for the health of Lagosians, amongst whom are members of my family, is about looking for your attention.
You are recklessly exposing Lagosians to disease, blight, plagues and epidemics, just by your breathtaking incompetence, and your garrulousness just makes you and your APC look even worse. Then again, what's new?
I have been giving you FREE "expos" on EXACTLY what you need to do, both in the short term and the long term, to help solve the rubbish problem that your stupidity has foisted on Lagosians, but in the crass arrogance that seems to be the hallmark of members of your criminal @OfficialAPCNg coven you somehow, in your tiny malfunctioning brain, have convinced yourself that I need your attention.
It is clear that you are from filth, and therefore are in love with filth. You can take the pig out of the sty, but a pig will always find mud to wallow in.
I hope you continue with your idiocy, so that Lagosians can see you and your masters for the greedy parasites and actual idiots that you have always been.
You have all successfully hidden the ugliness of your characters under cheap finery, gaudy baubles, and mostly memorised bombast and inappropriate bureaucratese.
The jig is up, son. Your yanshes - from the son of Ijebu-Mushin, to the Ewekoro Prince and you, their most lowly of seed, fit only for packing the filth from whence you came - are exposed for ALL Lagosians, including the suffering members of your party - to see.
If you keep leaving your filth around Lagosians, you can be sure that you will continue to hear from me.
I don't need you to attend to me. I just need you to pay attention to your fucking work for once, you gormless git.

When it comes to talking to a woman, avoid approaching a random woman you see on the road and immediately asking for her number. Aside from how difficult it is to start a meaningful conversation that way, the success rate is also low. It might end with, “I don’t give strangers my number,” and many women will not take a man seriously when his first approach is on the road.
If you can, avoid making advances to a woman on social media too. Women often present their best pictures and videos online, sometimes heavily edited, and they can also project unrealistic standards. You may spend so much time chasing someone online only to meet her in person and realise the attraction is not the same.
A better approach is to talk to a woman you have seen multiple times or someone you have had the opportunity to get acquainted with, around your neighbourhood, at weddings, church, work, or any other place you regularly visit. It becomes much easier when you have already spent some time around each other and had proper conversations.
For example, you attend a wedding, meet a woman there, start talking and, over the few hours you spend at the event, the conversation flows so naturally that it feels like you have known each other for years. When you are leaving and ask for her number, continuing the conversation afterwards becomes much easier because you are simply picking up from where you stopped at the event.
Now compare that with approaching a woman on the road, introducing yourself, getting her number and then trying to start a conversation afterwards. There is no familiarity, no shared experience and often nothing to build the conversation around. The communication can easily become forced, awkward and filled with one word replies from her.

I thought it is widely claimed that elections don’t count in Nigeria and it doesn’t matter who people vote for as long as the candidate came from a particular party or has bribed INEC.
Isn’t it shocking that the likes of Desmond Elliott, Iyabo Obasanjo, Dimeji Bankole, Gani Naaba and others were not voted for and it counted?
People’s votes count in Nigeria. To say otherwise is to call these kinds of stories and experiences a lie.
This Plateau man lost an election and disconnected electricity for the whole village saying he connected it using his own money.
He removed the transformer and packed all the cables.
Disconnected everybody.
He told them that they should ask the person they voted for to do it for them.😂
He disconnected water, removed his pipe, tank and submersible pump.
He has also terminated scholarship support for 60 students in his constituency which he funded personally and blames parents for not supporting him during the elections, thus losing the parliamentary seat.
They said if they vote for him, he'll get richer in the seat, they voted someone who has added nothing to their lives.
That's exactly what Plateau North and Central zone are facing now...
wonders shall never end and who is to blame ?*
