I left my house at 06:00 this morning & got back at 22:00 this evening. 368 miles later and it was worth every second to see us put in that performance in the FA cup. And on a side note there will be a delay repay claim coming your way Cross Country Trains! #BuryFC ⚽💙🏆

A great performance from every player today. We went toe to toe with a professional team who are two leagues higher. We had chances to win that in the second half but whisper it quietly... We are in the hat for the FA cup 1st round draw! #BuryFC ⚽💙🏆

One step closer to the 1st round draw! That was a good disciplined performance against a decent team at the same level as us from the southern league. We've looked tired in the last 5-10 minutes in the past 2 games but we are in the hat for the next round. #BuryFC 💙⚽

It's good to rotate the team. That game felt like a typical FA trophy game. We made it harder for ourselves with some poor defending at times, but also the referee had a poor 2nd half. Thankfully we've got a very good goalkeeper! #BuryFC ⚽💙

A fantastic performance, we didn't look phased when we went 0-1 down. We are starting to suffocate teams & make it impossible for them to play out against us. On to the next round of the FA cup 🏆 #BuryFC 💙⚽

You can really start to see things clicking now. The way we are putting teams under pressure, soaking up what the opposition has to offer & then taking our opportnities. Our form is building nicely just as the squad has more options available back from injury. #BuryFC ⚽💙

A dominant performance from start to finish secures all three points. Job done. #buryfc

Not bad for my first visit of the season! You could tell from the intensity during the opening 20 minutes that it was going to be all one way. We were just too good for what was a poor Ilkeston Town side. Now let's build on this & get the momentum going. #BuryFC 💙⚽

3 points is just the reaction we needed after Tuesday night. It doesn't matter how you get wins at this point in the season it's about gaining momentum to keep a run going. #BuryFC 💙⚽

A reminder to some Bury fans that's it's only August. Surrendering a 2-0 lead is never good but throwing around words like "disgrace" after 2 wins, 1 draw & a defeat in a new league is an over reaction. Same as always, move on & put it right in the next game. #BuryFC ⚽💙

I could only follow briefly via the radio commentary as I was at work today. It sounded like we controlled large parts of the game against a team that has been tipped by the bookies to be up there. A good start to the season, on to Tuesday night now. #BuryFC 💙⚽

We really must stop beating Radcliffe, it'll be bad for their confidence. Now the countdown is on for a magical day in the football calendar, the opening league fixture. ⚽💙 #BuryFC

Once a Shaker, always a Shaker! Congratulations on a fantastic career Kasper Schmeichel. I was lucky enough to watch him aged 19 in a Bury shirt, you could see then he would have a great career ahead of him. #BuryFC ⚽💙
