I was 7 years old and this was the coolest song I had ever heard. First time I heard it I was cashing in my hard earned @bookitprogram coupon at Pizza Hut
🎶On August 29, 1987, 'La Bamba' by Los Lobos reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100

This is awesome. "For the same length of time required to earn enough money to buy one breakfast in 1919, you could get 9.54 breakfasts in 2019 – an 854 percent increase in breakfast abundance."
Between 1919 and 2019, the time price of breakfast in the U.S. fell by 93%. Click the link to find out how we got that number. ⬇️ humanprogress.org/breakfast-…

I wish I knew this earlier in life. Somehow I got lucky and married up! I will definitely teach this to my boys.
A spouse is usually your biggest investment.
I’m not gonna lie, I have some serious life regrets. I married my high school sweetheart right after college. I was 23, she was 22. If only I could do things over. If I could go back in time I would marry her when I was 18. Five years wasted is too many!

Fun fact of the day. Texas y’all!
The pronghorn is the 2nd fastest mammal on earth (after the cheetah) and native to West Texas. Its speed is believed to be a function of having evolved to outrun a North American cheetah that has gone extinct. Y'all should have seen this one fly! One of my own photos. Taken 2016.

This is not debatable. This is a fact…the only debate is “was it an intentional assault on small business by the government or just a happy accident??” And yes I am implying that this is a welcome outcome by gov.
The lockdowns were, functionally, a bear raid on small businesses by large corporations. Show me an S&P 500 company that boarded up. Now ponder how many have expanded customer base by cannibalizing small businesses.

Interesting thread, worth a read! I grew up with a close family member that was a hypochondriac.
Have you ever dealt with a serious hypochondriac? I have. I’m not going to tell that personal story, but I will share some lessons I’ve learned, because I keep seeing the same behaviors among the covid-conscious.

Lost a commercial with Uber eats partnering with the NFL. Was going to film in LA, "views aren't aligned." Guess they don't like future School board members. Frees up my weekend.

Read the massive correction. This is why no one should get excited abt COVID stories. So many journalists are too lazy to double-check their pieces and innumerate, relying on “news” pre-packaged by advocacy groups who, in turn, issue releases/“reports” designed to raise money.

A 19-year old can take out a $150,000 student loan, with no down payment and no collateral, but would NEVER be able to take out the same loan to buy a house. That’s insane.
