please don't be afraid to comment on fics! it is not embarrassing. the author is not scary. they will not get annoyed if it's long and rambly or just a sentence. if you like something, praise it where the author can see it! you have no idea how much it motivates us.

maybe not an ick but i always get annoyed when i see someone reccing a fic here or on tiktok and there are dozens of comments praising it but then i click on the fic and it has five comments😬 like maybe show ur appreciation to the writer too not just ur twitter followers
