Your side project shouldn't take 20 seconds to wake up for the one recruiter who clicks the link. Free apps on Hostless stay on. No cold starts, no credit card. hostless.cloud

A new chapter at Hostless Cloud! 🚀 I'm stepping into the role of CEO, taking on the challenge of growing a product we've spent years building into a thriving business. Excited for what's ahead, the people we'll meet, and the opportunities we'll create. And yes, I'll still be sharing my thoughts and conversations on learning. That journey continues too! Let's build! @HostlessCloud

Little wonder pattern recognition is the highest form of intelligence

AI can speed up learning, but pattern recognition is what turns information into real understanding. 💡

StackShift is the AI-native platform where agents build, fix, and ship software safely while powering customer support for your business around the clock. Proud to be part of NVIDIA Inception as we build the next generation of agent-powered infrastructure.

Looking back at my old posts, a few ideas keep standing out to me. AI makes production easier, but judgment matters more. Recall, recognition, practice, struggle, support, and pattern learning all still matter. The opportunity is to use AI to strengthen these parts of learning, not remove them. The goal is to design learning experiences that build real understanding, sound judgment, and independence.

It’s official! 🚀 I’m excited to finally introduce @Dayroomdev, an AI-native workspace built to make team communication, collaboration, and getting work done feel effortless. I’ve been building this for a while, and I’m excited to finally put it in your hands. This is just the beginning. Come try Dayroom and let me know what you think! 🔗 dayroom.fly.dev/

Ohhh I didn’t mention? @AltSchoolAfrica has also partnered with Tomorrow University in Germany. AltSchool current and past students will also be able to use their diploma to continue a degree there.

Restaurants are dead. Chefs are dead. I just bought an airfryer and I can cook anything. And recipes are on the internet for free!!

.@AltSchoolAfrica has officially signed an educational pathway partnership with the American Open University of Nigeria (A-Global). Starting next week, current and past AltSchool students will be able to use their AltSchool diploma to continue towards a degree at the American Open University of Nigeria. Because AltSchool is accredited, your one year at AltSchool can earn you degree credits that can be transferred to our partner universities, significantly reducing the time it takes to complete your degree.

My biggest fear as a dev is AI disappearing and I have to sit to learn CSS again.

working at a higher level of abstraction has always required understanding the lower level ones, I don't think coding agents changes this

AI gives us access to more examples, variations, and explanations than ever before. That makes me think about one of the deeper parts of learning: recognising patterns. Over time, we get better at a subject because we start to notice what repeats, what changes, what matters,...

and what tends to follow from what. That is true in engineering, writing, mathematics, design, communication, and many other areas. The opportunities with AI are not just faster answers, but creating enough varied exposure for learners to start seeing the patterns for themselves

We created gyms because modern day work no longer required physical activity. Without exercise, our muscles atrophy. I predict we’ll need gyms for our brains too, once AI starts doing our knowledge work.
