The new OpenPencil landing page also showcases how you can embed the editor in your own products.
We’ve also started working on a self-hostable cloud platform, so if you or your design team want a private Figma-like workspace, you can join the waitlist there.

In the next OpenPencil release, there will be shader support and Iconify integration. Also: voice chats, Storybook export, and many other highly requested features and fixes. OpenPencil is back in the game!
Most of the features have already landed in master. I need another day for regression testing. ETA: Monday.
Big update for PhoenixReplay!
PhoenixReplay records what your LiveViews did on the server (events, navigation, assigns) and replays a session by rendering your own templates again. No DOM snapshots, so a replay shows exactly what the server rendered, and a session takes only a few KB.
It works out of the box: one command installs it, and your views and components need no changes.
What's new in 0.6:
– a one-command install with Igniter: it mounts the dashboard, wires up the browser recorder and turns recording off in tests
– a browser recorder for what the server can't see: the pointer, touches, scrolling, form input and client-side state
– records the viewport, orientation, color scheme and other media settings, so phone and dark-mode sessions replay as the user saw them
– collects SQL queries, HTTP calls and logs, tied to the event that caused them
– tail sampling: record everything, keep sessions with errors, slow queries or marks like "checkout completed"
– a new dashboard where you can find any session by traffic source, campaign, device, browser, release, mark or error, and see your traffic over time
– video export: turn any session into an MP4 for a bug report
– 𝙿𝚑𝚘𝚎𝚗𝚒𝚡𝚁𝚎𝚙𝚕𝚊𝚢.𝚃𝚛𝚊𝚌𝚎, 𝚖𝚒𝚡 𝚙𝚑𝚘𝚎𝚗𝚒𝚡_𝚛𝚎𝚙𝚕𝚊𝚢.𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚠 and two agent skills, so coding agents can debug from real sessions

In the next version of OpenPencil, CSS variables will be supported end-to-end. As promised, the focus is now shifting heavily toward product features.
In the next version of OpenPencil, on top of supporting Figma’s slots, there will be something Figma was never capable of: behaviors. This feature will allow you to wire headless UI frameworks like Reka UI to components and preview interactive prototypes right in the editor.
Working on the next generation of PhoenixReplay. Yes, you’ll be able to just plug it into your Phoenix LiveView app and get a storage-efficient, fully replayable trace of your backend and frontend for free. More on that soon.
A friendly reminder that our “pet ecosystem” has a wide range of tools to help you if you vibe-code blindly:

Replying to @kristoph
That only makes for a better comparison. If your pet ecosystem isn't usable for agents without a ton of human intervention, it's going to fare poorly going forward.
In the next version of OpenPencil, the design linter (which has actually been around for a long time, BTW) will finally get a UI.
The upcoming OpenPencil release will bring a huge jump in Figma compatibility. It will be able to handle very complex files with deeply nested component instances, etc.
QuackDB 0.5.26 is out.
Since the first package release, it evolved a lot. I've tested it under load and in many different consumers.
@duckdb isn't just a database. It reads Parquet, CSV, JSON, Iceberg and Delta straight from S3, does full-text search, spatial and window functions, and hands back dataframes.
QuackDB wraps it all in Elixir: DuckDB supervised in OTP, Ecto queries, DDL and DML as Elixir data.
