On Sunday we welcomed Myerscough Girls Football Team to Kellamergh Park as our match day mascots. At half-time the girls took part in a penalty shootout against our very own Syd the Seagull 💪⚽️
We hope you had an amazing day and we look forward to seeing you at KP again soon 🤍

Not many teams will keep Leeds to 'nil' & felt we could have been ahead at half time. Huge credit to Izzy & indeed the entire team for protecting the clean sheet. Izzy has adapted so well to this level & deserves the plaudits for her performance today. No ceiling for this kid!

A dominant victory in yet another derby. 3 consecutive derbies, 3 wins, 9 goals scored, 2 conceded & 2 clean sheets. Could have had another couple of goals today but we'll take the 3 points & move on to Leeds at KP next Sunday. Also another clean sheet for young Izzy in goal!

We are blessed to have a pathway filled with highly coachable girls & very good coaches. Zuzanna is no different & has trained with the 1st team frequently. Did not look out of place today & made crucial saves. Huge credit to her & our academy coaches.
🙌 Another success story from the AFC Fylde Women's Academy 🎓
What a debut performance from Zuzanna! Stepping up to the First Team and making some unbelievable saves this afternoon 👏🧤

Excellent, I thought from start to finish. Sometimes in football other people misfortune opens up doors for academy products.
