Was a pleasure to have been able to speak to Marc about some of the recent trends in the industry.
I used to work for Marc back in my TradFi days so it was great to be able to chat about an industry he might not be too familiar with, especially after all that he had thought me!

Some takeaways from my time in Singapore and @token2049;
- The lines between Crypto and FinTech continue to blur
- The trend of more Institutions continues to compound
- RWAs, PayFi, and Cards seem to be the current met
Overall, it was a good week (except for my lungs)
Everyone posting that they’re in Bali after Token. Meanwhile, I’m just happy to be back in Amsterdam after such a chaotic week (enjoying fresh air)

hot take: crypto and fintech are basically the same industry now.
stablecoins and blockchain rails ARE a financial technology.
crypto native companies are now launching cards, bank accounts, other financial products, while traditional fintechs are integrating wallets, stablecoins and blockchain rails at an unprecedented rate.
we’re watching both industries attack the same problems from opposite directions until they eventually meet in the middle.
crypto companies are becoming fintechs and fintechs are becoming crypto companies.

THE BLOCK: Onchain prediction market protocol Trueo announced its migration from Base to Ethereum, citing the mainnet's "highest integration potential and product upside."
