Your child should not have to perform for your pride. We say “I’m proud of you” when they hit the home run, make the team, bring home good grades, win the award… But what about the regular Tuesday? No trophy. No big moment. Nothing to post. Tell them then too. Because if they only hear your pride when they achieve something, they can start believing their value is tied to performance. Be proud of who they are, not just what they produce.

I love being called dumb. A HS valedictorian with an academic scholarship to college with 2 NYT Bestsellers & a TV commentary career lasting more than a decade & counting? Wouldn't that be even MORE impressive if I WERE dumb? A tale of triumph in the face of a disability!

You are NOT rude for choosing your safety. If you are about to get on an elevator and something feels off, do not worry about hurting somebody’s feelings. Step back. Get off. Wait for the next one. You do not owe a stranger access to your space just because being cautious might look “mean.” That is one of the biggest things I want these girls to understand: Your instincts do not need permission. Check your surroundings. Pay attention to who gets on behind you. And if you do not feel comfortable, MOVE. I would rather these girls be called rude than be afraid to protect themselves.

Minnesota has a workforce problem, and this map explains why. A new analysis of lifetime income taxes found that the average Minnesota worker will pay $759,000 in federal and state income taxes over a 45-year career. That's the 5th highest in America — higher than California. The same worker in South Dakota? $325,000. Read that again: $434,000 more — for the same career, the same work, the same life. Just a different state on your tax return. Now ask the question every Minnesota employer is asking: why would a 22-year-old college graduate move here to start a career? And remote work makes it worse. This is the most mobile generation in American history. A young professional can take a Twin Cities salary and live in Sioux Falls, Austin, or Tampa — keep the paycheck, skip nearly half a million in taxes. The math isn't even close. I love Minnesota. We've got the best workers, the best schools, the best lakes, the strongest communities in America. But our tax code punishes exactly the people we need most — young workers starting out, families trying to build something. We don't have a talent problem. We have a policy problem. And it's fixable: win a trifecta, cut taxes, and start letting families keep more of their hard-earned money. Then watch them choose Minnesota. #SaveOurState #LowerTaxes #AttractTheWorkforce #VoteRepublican

If the bus is EMPTY and somebody comes and sits RIGHT beside you… MOVE. You do not owe strangers a conversation just because they want one. Be polite if you want to be. But be aware first. Sit where you can reach the driver. Know your exits. Trust when something feels off. Speak up when somebody makes you uncomfortable. I do not want these girls paranoid. I want them prepared.

SCOTT BESSENT SAYS ELIZABETH WARREN HAS SENT HIM 141 LETTERS, AND HIS TEAM IS PUTTING TOGETHER "FOR DUMMIES" GUIDES JUST FOR HER. 🤣 He says some of her letters show she doesn't understand foreign exchange, so now she's getting bond markets for dummies too. That tells you what Democrats plan to do if they win Congress next month. They won't fix a single problem, they'll just bury this administration in letters, hearings, and endless investigations. Bessent says they'll try to block everything Trump is doing to cut regulations and grow the economy. Don't hand Elizabeth Warren a gavel, because she clearly can't even handle a textbook 😂🇺🇸

Rand Paul reveals Washington spent $4,600,000 of YOUR money to find out whether getting drunk makes you FALL DOWN. Another $3,000,000 went to studying whether eating ants fights global warming. $7,000,000 on a “smart toilet” that photographs your backside. And $2,000,000 to learn if hot tubs help you relax. Rand Paul kept the receipts. It gets dumber: • NIH spent $1,000,000 to help people get over their fear of the dentist. • USAID spent $48,000,000 to help disconnected Tunisian youth cope with modern society. • NIH spent $36,000,000 to find out why stress turns hair gray. • Washington even sent money to Central America to train people on how to apply for U.S. grants. Yes, really. We paid them to get better at taking our money. Not one American with an ounce of common sense would vote to approve a dime of this garbage. The government pisses away billions like this and never stops asking for MORE.

This has been going on for a few years. I bet it started during the Obama years. It is a deliberate attempt to skew the racial crime statistics that show minorities dominating the victim and perpetrator groups. #crime #race
I have dug through over 7,000+ arrest records in the state of North Carolina over the past 2 weeks. What I found was so shocking, I had a hard time believing it myself... It appears major fraud is taking place in arrest records where Black offenders are labelled White. I didn't come across this once or twice. It appears that a few HUNDRED Black offenders are being labelled as White. The option to pick "BLACK" exists and is used frequently in arrest records... ...but it seems they are purposely choosing the label of "WHITE AFRICAN" or "WHITE CAUCASIAN" to identify someone who is clearly a "BLACK" person. This is massive fraud.

Gary Gaetti became the first player in MLB history to homer in his first two postseason at-bats as the Twins beat the Tigers 8-5 in Game 1 of the ALCS on this date in 1987. Detroit took a 5-4 lead in the top of the eighth, the Twins rallied for four in the bottom of the inning.

Meet Miguel Rojas. He studied all 100 citizenship questions. He wanted no special treatment because he’s a professional baseball player. And when he passed, he said he was prouder of that perfect score than his World Series home run. What stood out to me most was his gratitude. He talked about America opening its doors to him 21 years ago and said he’s never taken that opportunity for granted. Preparation. Respect for the process. Gratitude for the country that gave you an opportunity. Wanting to contribute and be judged by your character, not your status.

“Somebody gets paid to fix it” is one of the worst excuses we teach kids. If you picked it up, changed your mind, and know where it came from… put it back. Yes, stores have employees. No, that does not mean we should intentionally make their job harder. Consideration is thinking about the person who comes behind you, even when nobody is making you. That is the kind of character I want these girls to have.
