We’re committing a portion of Anthropic’s shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit.
It will start off with 5% of our shares. For every 50% increase in the company’s value over a set baseline, we can contribute up to an extra 2%, subject to our board’s discretion.
In total, this means that roughly 20% of Anthropic’s shares are committed to the public good. Our co-founders have already pledged to donate 80% of their equity, and around half our employees are donating a portion of their equity as part of a donation matching program we’ve run since our founding.

Anthropics upcoming model is another insane leap. Claude reportedly chose the images, music and visual direction for this video, then coded the rest of the production in 2.5 hours.
According to @chetaslua, it was free to do its own research and make the creative decisions.
The images and music are existing assets. The surrounding production was built with code.

Pure product design is over.
The models will be as good or better than the top designers today. You must prepare for that.
Right now they’re not in a lot of areas — but they’re already close. Better than some mid / jr level designers but you still need someone that understands the craft to steer the direction. And that’s why there’s a lot of mid stuff coming out recently. Because people that know no better are shipping slop.
In the future the models will be able to steer just as well as you can, which is why you need to learn the product design process from beginning to end.
This is what the “member of technical staff” title represents. You’re an operator, I’m an operator — everyone becomes an operator. And in order to operate properly, you should learn the process of shipping from beginning to end.
Just ask the model, the model will help you figure it out.
This is how you will stay afloat.

At this point its no secret anymore that tomorrow "o" (or "Aeon") will be revealed, OpenAIs always-on-agent. The hire of Peter Steinberger is going to pay off.
After the events of the last few days, all eyes will be on the newest models. OpenAI held the lead for a long time, pushing Anthropic into the background. Now the tables have turned.
Many rumors are circulating; we'll see what's true tomorrow. However, I think Astra will at least receive an update to demonstrate, on its most important day, that it remains the dominant player.
