Dear Twitter, please stop tweeting screenshots of Musk Tweets. Thanks.
Replying to @ice_panel
@ice_panel Every once in a while I take a look at IcePenal again and evaluate it for adoption. However, the one thing that is holding back is that connections are not visible in higher-up (zoomed out) diagrams. That's something that makes it barely useful for me
2
And with "barely useful" I mean: I can do almost everything with other tools that are much less productive than icepanel, but they are in our default toolbox. Having the connections re-show on different levels would be something that would justify the invest in icepanel

Replying to @IntelGaming
@IntelGaming OK this is absolutely not cool: I was struggling with performance issues for days, trying out everything to mitigate them. Then today I finally found out that the culprit was some intel usage reporting tool running in the background. 🤮🤬
2
It apparently came bundled with either the Intel UHD graphics (which I don't use, I have a GeForce 2080 Max-Q) or your official Driver Updating tool. Please find and fix that issue, it might affect thousand other gamers that might not find this to be the solution.

The problem was very strange, even: FPS were reported as being mostly 100+ (which is less than I usually have, but should still be fluent), but the gameplay suffered from micro and makro lags and stuttering

With Twitter's change in ownership last week, I'm probably in the clear to talk about the most unethical thing I was asked to build while working at Twitter. 🧵

Just pushed 8 minor hotfixes to production microservices on a friday afternoon, and upgraded one microservice from flask to @FastAPI while I was at it. I have faith in our monitoring. ;-)

Ich will nie wieder hören, was uns der Klimaschutz kostet.

I got fed up writing FFmpeg commands. Its unintuitive, and can get ugly and complicated quickly A couple of months ago, I built this GUI to help me write complex ffmpeg filtergraphs that we have been using internally and decided to launch today. ffmpeg.guide

BREAKING!

"Why Web Tech Is Like This" This is maybe the best talk I've ever seen, thanks for the awesome work @stevensanderson! I can't fathom the braveness to run 30 years old code live on stage. Just impressive. youtu.be/3QEoJRjxnxQ
