My brother’s wife kept disrespecting him because she thought his patience meant he was weak. Then one day, he stopped arguing with her, and suddenly she was the one asking what had changed. My brother is 34 and lives in Houston, Texas. He’s a quiet man. He works, takes care of his family, and doesn’t believe every disagreement needs to turn into a shouting match. His wife is 27, outspoken, and the kind of person who always wants the last word. At first, I thought they were just adjusting to married life. But the more I visited, the more I noticed how she spoke to him. She would call him names when they argued, embarrass him in front of friends, and then laugh when he told her she had gone too far. One evening, we were all sitting in the living room when she started complaining about his job. “Sometimes I wonder why I even married you. My friends’ husbands are moving forward, and you’re still here.” My brother looked at her and said, “You don’t have to talk to me like that.” She laughed. “Oh, please. You’re always acting like a victim. What are you going to do about it?” He said nothing. He just got up and went into the bedroom.

Obinna my guy. He had a thriving boutique business back then in umuahia before he joined the army and was sent to the front lines. At some point he was sent to PH and all of us were happy. He even came to our shop and bought Keke for his brother. And that was the last time I saw him. His father and brother came and told us that he was killed alongside 11 other soldiers in an ambush in Zamfara state abi na Sokoto, one of those states. 12 soldiers died on that day and all of them were southern men. He was the chaplain of his unit. Obinna was a very vibrant person. We sang in the same streams of joy choir back then when streams of joy was still a fellowship. A good son of Ehime Mbano. And ezigbo nwa afor ward 3 Umuahia. We miss you. Until Nigeria fixes itself, no person should join that army. Mfito Nigeria akpolaala men. Copied.

Being Okoya’s firstborn son would open many doors for you, especially in the political sphere 😎 but you traded it all because of a woman.

I remember when we were in school in Ilorin, one of my hostel guys got a girl pregnant back home. He begged her not to keep the baby, but she refused. Fast forward, the baby was born, this guy was still struggling financially. One day, the girl reported him to Human Rights, and they came to our hostel to pick him up. 😂😭 They took him to their office and told him how much he had to pay every month to take care of the child. When he came back to the hostel, he gave me the full gist. I asked him one question: “Bro, you don run DNA test?” My guy looked at me like I was mad. 😭😂 He had never even thought about it! Long story short, this guy had to save money for months to do a DNA test. The result came back… 99% NOT HIS CHILD. 😭😭😂 Since that day, this guy has never stopped thanking me for saving his life. He even hyped me again today after watching my Manchester United video, and that’s what reminded me of this story. 😂😂😭

Mi amigo no respondió.

Replying to @AyanbisiAT
I disagree… I watched his interview last night and he said he’s tried for many years to reach out through his grand mum(Alhaja Okoya), his dad’s closest friend (Chief Doyin )and many other people but nothing has changed.. He probably chose social media route because he wants many people to know about it, but I don’t think a 66 year old man that’s lived 40 years without his money will care so much about inheritance.. he will be delusional to think he will get a share from his estate to begin with, no way a man that cut you off for 40 years will leave anything for you in his will.. he doesn’t need to see a will to know this as a fact.. somebody that said he went for his birthday this year and he was refused to see him… I don’t know how deep his offense is, but I will never believe he’s reaching out because of money after 40 years..

That Okoya's first son, Fatai Okoya, who is begging for reunion after over 40 years of separation from his billionaire father, Razak Okoya, obviously got wind of the will and discovered he's done for.
