I wonder if it has something to do with her personality. She's always struck me as someone who's genuinely content with what she has, incredibly grateful for the opportunities she's given and not particularly demanding when it comes to asking for more.

I think a lot of this defensiveness comes from the perception that dahyun is treated relatively well so any criticism of how jype handles her career is immediately taken as an attack lol

Sometimes i wonder if she even realises just how much potential she has and how much more she could be doing. She seems like the type of person who looks at what she's been given and feels grateful for it, rather than thinking about everything she could have received but hasn't.
