small accounts don't have a content problem. they have a timing problem.
the reply you write on the right post, early, beats the best post you write on your own profile. building a tool to find those posts. not perfect yet, but getting there fast.
ship the messy version.
launch checklist for solo builders:
✅ it runs
❌ it's perfect
the polish can wait until someone actually uses it. nobody can tell you what to clean up if nobody's there.
meta is worth billions and i still opened 4 menus to find one setting. every page has its own set of menus. how does an interface this bad survive at that scale?
working on some minor extra tools for bangerx. find best performers vs time to post vs topic.
and the X API is killing my bank account. this is getting expensive. fast.
GM BUILDERS. Happy Monday!
A new week starts on X and I am looking forward to make this the best week ever.
Who's with me?
.so domains propagate hella slow. took 2 hours for the domain to get activated and another 30 min to update the DNS.
this is by far the longest activation time for any domain I have previously purchased.
unpopular take: "SaaS is dead" people confuse the billing model with the product.
you never paid for the tool in the first place. you paid for trust, expertise and not having to fix it yourself. one-time purchase apps don't change that requirement, no matter the billing model.
i tested superx, climbx, growthx and two other clones. great features, wrong focus. small accounts need the one lever that actually moves the needle, and none of them had it. building my own, in public. which lever do you think it is?
launch checklist for solo founders:
✅ it works
❌ perfect
the imperfect kills most projects. ship it anyway.
commissions are a tax on not having an audience.
bootstrap path: build the audience, then offer people a better deal directly.
do the math for them. don't make them think.
I let my Claude Code build a new idea overnight. Haven't checked the outcome yet.
The loot box is ready to be opened 🙈
the part of my product that actually works costs nothing.
four products, one pricing rule: the core job is free. completely.
paid is for people who want more of it. not for unlocking the thing that works.
25 years in marketing taught me this about walls. a wall in front of the good part doesn't convert anyone. it just ends the conversation early.
free users who got real value are the only marketing i don't pay for.
brawlx.lol is getting a proper launch video. why? i wanted to test it.
prompt: "i want to create a short launch video for brawlx that i can share on X"
😂 let's see if it will cook or not
