Malfoid had been prepared to employ dark magic in the pursuit of justice. Instead, Potter confessed that he had asked her to spare Vernon because he feared she might be sent to Azkaban for harming a Muggle. For once, the young lady of the House of Malfoy found herself without a retort. How dreadfully inconvenient. She slipped her arm through his. “Should the Ministry ever send me to Azkaban, Potter, I trust you will insist on accompanying me.” “You want me to come to Azkaban with you?” “Don't be absurd. I should hardly expect you to let me go alone.” She continued walking, perfectly satisfied with this arrangement. The House of Malfoy had endured worse indignities. Besides, Dementors had never particularly troubled her. She regarded them as little more than miserable pets. As for the Dursleys, their promised gift remained a secret. For now. 🐍💚 #Malfoid #HarryPotter #Yearning

The Malfoys have many traditions. One is never allowing an inferior specimen to dictate the terms. Vernon Dursley has had the misfortune of discovering this one. Ten years of treating Harry Potter as a burden have brought him to this curious position: suspended against his own wall, awaiting judgment from a young lady who regards his existence as a breach of etiquette. Malfoid has yet to decide how the lesson shall conclude. Then Potter, naturally, chooses this precise moment to complicate matters. "Mercy...?" A lesser woman might have mistaken restraint for defeat. But even the most righteous anger must eventually answer to the heart, and Malfoid has discovered that loving Harry Potter can be terribly inconvenient. 🐍💚 #Malfoid #HarryPotter #Yearning
