Should we ban radio? No alien radio signal. Maybe any species that transmits via radio gets taken out by an aggressive alien civilization. It is our main way to SETI. Can we survive without radio transmission?

Stop the censoring. If you don't like a song, don't listen to it. But it is someones art and good art is challenging and can be offensive. Can be of another time. Can be hard to understand. That's ok and it's ok not to like some particular art pieces even if others love it.

I like that they have 360 video in @F1 . When will I be able to watch it in VR?

We need more funding (which is next to nothing) for games. Extend creative funding to include games. Let’s hash-tag it… #Section481 #DGS #DGS18 #IrishGameDev #indiedev

BBC seem to have a problem with fortnight. They are welcoming recognizing gaming addiction without understanding. How parents deal with gaming in the home matters. Taking it away is not the answer. Scheduling game time is much better. Prohibition doesn't ever work in any case.

There is always the joke about ripping up a kids picture and telling them it's crap and doesn't belong on the fridge (if giving them honest feedback). That's what it feels like you are doing when you argue over their games. It will make kids want to play more just to spite you
Parents were complaining about not being able to pause fortnight as it is online. Understanding the games your kids play will change how you act in getting them to play safely. If a kid feels their parents know nothing about the game they play there will be conflict.
I had my playstation controllers taken away when I was younger. That did nothing to stop me playing. I have friends and could go play in their house. Would do anything to get my controllers back. Pure sneaky like. Became another game for me.
Publicly testing your game is in-valuable. Great to see how players will engage with the game when left to figure it out for themselves. Get it out in front of people and you will definitely learn something about your game. This is the best "Con" in Ireland to do so. xitter.cf/Imirt_ie/status/100475…
The great folks at @DublinComicCon have opened their call for their indie games section! If you have something you want to show off and get in front of an audience please fill in this form and let them know! docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F…
What do we call this decade? Noughties was a good one for the last decade. This one is nearly done yet I don't know what we're supposed to call it.
