Sadly, in the back of many brave “activists’” minds, this was expected. To save some of them from harsh utterances (Q4:148) & the hopefuls from much stress, I suggest throwing in the towel, & so repost these from when Covid prevented many from going. It may need revision, tho.
Hey @InxPrime, Do you watch DSTV 345? I don’t think so. If you did, you would have heard that the sound volume is way above that of most channels. eg: on my remote, on Hilaal TV, +4 clicks on INX gets me to the same volume and on BBC, another +4 clicks gets me to the same volume.

feeling unwelcome.
This is not to suggest that every march is violent or that everyone who stays away shares these concerns. Nor am I claiming to represent an entire racial group.
My point is straightforward: absence from a march does not automatically equal indifference,
alHamduLILLĀHi, after years of working on this, the answer to how the Hijri calendar should be made has been reached. The year 1448 is done but requires editing and marking the days of ’id, Hajj, cupping, beedh, etc. For now, receive Jumad ul-Awwal using the method described.

Beautiful speech. Now let’s hear one directed at the greedy, selfish and incompetent African leaders who have failed their own people, forcing millions to flee their countries in search of survival elsewhere.
What would Tsietsi Mashinini, Steve Biko, Chris Hani and Solomon Mahlangu say if they witnessed Africans turning against one another while the very leaders responsible for their suffering continue to enjoy the privileges of power?
Why is the anger directed at South Africans who are also struggling, while African leaders who have failed their own citizens are spared accountability?
You cannot preach African unity while ignoring African suffering. We cannot keep blaming ordinary South Africans for questioning a crisis that political leaders across the continent have failed to address.

Let me help you understand because I see that you are trying to judge the architecture of the universe by using the logic of a village mechanic.
Think of a smart phone. It is more or less like a flat piece of glass, metal, and plastic sitting in your pocket. Yet, when you make a video call, this lifeless object shoots invisible frequencies into the sky. And within a split second, you are looking at a live moving image of someone halfway across the world and hearing their voice as if they are sitting right next to you.
You accept this mind bending process without question because human engineers gave it a name and sold it to you. If you took that same phone back a few centuries and tried to explain a video call, the most brilliant scholars of that era would call you crazy. They would swear it defies all known logic.
Yet, when the Creator of time, space, and quantum physics designs a celestial vessel capable of bending spatial dimensions, your mind completely shuts down.
You ignorantly reduce a metaphysical reality to a winged donkey. When humans build a rocket that breaks the sound barrier, you call it genius. When the Supreme Being operates outside your limited understanding of earthly biology, you laugh. That is not critical thinking. That is arrogance masking a severe lack of exposure.
Jsyk, the Buraq is not a winged donkey. It as a unique celestial creation capable of traveling at incomprehensible speeds, where its single stride reaches the horizon. If modern science accepts that light travels at mind bending speeds across the universe, then you mocking a heavenly transport system just exposes your rigid, misguided and limited mind.
Then you proceeded to mock the reduction of the prayers, calling it a negotiation. For those of us that have sense, imagine a billionaire investor sets a big target for a new startup to generate 50 million dollars in revenue.
He does this to establish the ultimate standard of what the company is truly worth. A veteran advisor steps in and warns that the young team will burn out and collapse under that heavy weight. The billionaire smiles, drops the target to 5 million, but still grants them the full 50 million dollar equity.
Did the advisor outsmart the billionaire? No. The original target was set to reveal the massive and immense value of the deal, and the reduction was a deliberate mechanism to show overwhelming generosity.
The initial decree of 50 prayers established the true weight of what humanity owes the Creator. The encounter with Moses (peace be upon him) was the divine mechanism used to unveil His mercy to human weakness. He gave us the discount of 5 while allowing us keep the full reward of 50.
Only the believer will understand the spiritual depth of this. But even a skeptic with a functioning brain can grasp the philosophical brilliance behind it. When you mock concepts that are lightyears beyond your comprehension, you do not expose the religion. You only put your own intellectual poverty on public display.
I pray the Almighty guides you.
After years of attention, we have this, the answer to our calendar and moon disunity, alHamduLILLĀHi. The year 1448 is done, just requires editing and marking the days of ’id, Hajj, cupping, beedh, etc. @ @Jamiatsa @MfIsmailMoosa @uucsa @muftitaqiusmani @NewCrescentSoc @ISNAHQ
“… and fatness will appear among them” Sahih al-Bukhari 3650. That makes me wary of fat people, especially ulama and others like them.
And chunky too at that - an over 500MB download.
Hopefully @AlQalam20 reads this: In voting, we must consider what Qur’ān & Ahadith say about our neighbours, that the near ones are those in dwellings next to ours, the far ones are those we share SA with. After we put them 1st we must vote for the party most likely to help them.
Can we forgo the StoryTime pre-Khutbah Khutbah tomorrow for a short, meaningful reminder on Wills, because reminders benefit the believers (Q51:55)? Don’t waste the 56 gatherings in a year on stories. att: @Jamiatsa @JamiatKZN @MfIsmailMoosa @muftitaqiusmani @MuftiARM @akhoosen
The Prophet ﷺ fasted on Mondays and explained that one of the reasons was: "It is the day on which I was born."
The Sahabah heard this hadith and understood it as encouragement to fast on Mondays.
Imam Mālik, Abū Ḥanīfah, al-Shāfiʿī, Aḥmad, and generations of scholars understood it the same way.
But somehow according to some their understanding isn't enough and start celebrating a new Eid for Prophet's birthday to truly understand this hadith.
Islamic knowledge is not determined by qualifications or sufficiency, but on how much is understood from the muhkamātun in Qur’ān and (Sahih) Hadith, which increases as and when the mutashābihātun change into muhkamātun in ones reading. eg a day begins at Subh Sādiq, not Maghrib.
All this annual ado about the Rasūl’s, ﷺ, birthday, but how many fast on Mondays as he did? By ALLĀH’s Precise calculations, this Mon, 24 August, is also 12 Rabi ul-Awwal everywhere, the date of the Rasūl’s birth. All the more reason to fast. And adopt moon timings. cc @Jamiatsa
When @DBNMetroPolice and @SAPoliceService cannot stop nuisance noise at street level, can they be trusted to uphold any Law and byLaw? They drove past and/or branched off before the source behind Elangeni today 15 Aug in Playfair Road. @kzncogta @bereamail
I try once again to get this through to Muslim leaders, influencers, etc. Being out of sync with the moon is similar to praying before the time has set in. @Jamiatsa @JamiatKZN @MfIsmailMoosa @moonsightingng @moonsightingau @NewCrescentSoc @ICOUK @MoonsightingAUS @ISNAHQ
