I have been asked to give my own take and this is mine,
Genesis 6-6 The Lord regretted making human beings on the earth, and his heart was grieved.
Humans are ungrateful in general 2 Timothy 3:2-4
For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God.
Their belief system could possibly be described as atheist or agnostic as best. Their only faith is in science and in a systematic understanding of the universe and how the laws of the universe work, and in humankind. Asking them to read scriptures is a waste of time, the only thing that you should do is to pray for them.
Telling them the life they have is given to them by God they won't listen and they will tell you is science, they will ask you questions like Why are people suffering? If prayers work why people are begging? Why is the land dry? Etc.
For example, some Nigerian pastors will say if you don't pay tithe you won't get rich or be blessed. The Atheist people will tell you I don't pay tithe but I am richer than the ones who does but they are failing to understand that True relationship with God has nothing to do with money.
Before money, God was, is and will be after money.
Abraham was not a poor man when God called him out of his father's land yet, God still said he would bless him.
The blessings from God's perspective, a wider perspective.
Be discerning, Don't be a fôôl, Don't allow social media people to tell you otherwise, and very soon heavens will open for you.
God bless you All.

Funny irony of life
People try so hard to prove that miracles don't exist.
Until a day when Money, science, technology, medicine doesn't give the answer or solution they want.
Then they become desperate for a miracle and fall back to that God they swore didn't exist.
“A woman’s bréast that was cut off due to cancer grew back two weeks after. I don’t blame the doubts, some of these miracles in our midst are difficult to believe.” — Pastor Adeboye.

I think it's relative. We just need to be discerning in our spirit before lending out our money to people.
I loaned someone £4000 early this year when he needed to extend his visa and he paid me back at the promised time. He actually reached out to me to and asked for £1000 loan. I asked him what he wanted to do with it, he said he wants to renew his visa with that of his family. Of course I know he will need more than £1000 for visa renewal. I simply asked him how much exactly does he need and he said 4k. I loaned him the whole 4k and he didn't fuck up. He refunded me.
On the contrary, someone also reached out to me sometime in February for just £500 loan. My spirit told me it won't end well. I simply told him I don't have up to £500 at the moment as I'd just sorted some expenses back home. I further said to him that I can afford to loan him £100. Dude hasn't refunded my £100 till date. He doesn't even call me again.
Just three days ago, borrowed someone ₦500k. I did it because my spirit was at peace to do it. And I even told him he can refund it anytime it is convenient for him. I found help when I needed help and I will keep paying it forward and not stop helping my friends when they also need help too. But I'll always follow my spirit's leading before giving out my money.
“Stop borrowing people your money, it never ends well. It ruins relationships” — Pastor Bolaji.

No Nigerian is exploiting DSTV. It is the amount they said we should pay we are paying. They are the ones repeating Mission Impossible 659 times in a month.
Pricing should align with affordability in the country except we are seeing watching DSTV as luxury. This is the reason we complain about fuel price, food prices etc., the prices don’t align with affordability in Nigeria. What is Kenya’s minimum wage? What is South Africa’s minimum wage? Can they afford the prices?
Now back to us. What’s our minimum wage? Can we afford it?
If they want to go, they should go. DSTV is not one of the basic necessities of life.
See, I want dstv to pack up and leave, even if it’s a mock winding up for some months so Nigerians can see that the exploitation is from them, not DSTV.
We tend to channel all our anger at this private business without any credible justification.
We claim to be against piracy, but when it’s a perceived DSTV competitor using unfair and illegal methods in discussion, we cheer, we don’t even mind that the competition is unfair.
We want businesses to make profit, we make such claims, but with DSTV we shut our eyes and minds to the facts available.
What exactly has Multichoice/DSTV done wrong? Are they the ones who ruined the Nigerian economy?
NNPC, Dangote and literally every other private coy can adjust to Naira’s devaluation by increasing prices, we would understand them. However, with DSTV, uproar comes out of nowhere.
The most annoying part is our main character syndrome; the lies that we are DSTV’s biggest market or that we pay the highest subs in Africa. Both are categorically false, we pay one of the lowest, and we don’t contribute as much revenue as South Africa to them. How long are we going to continue with the delusion?
