I stopped another media team climbing over the gate trying to get inside the nursery where the terrible killings took place on Thursday night. Entering a serious crime scene is not acceptable behaviour by journalists. Showing blood-stained rooms inside is hugely insensitive.

We love eating fish and seafood - it's one of the most widely eaten foods in the world. But global fish stocks are dwindling and protected species - like turtles and dolphins - often end up being caught and killed by fishing nets bbc.in/3NtHtJg

People Fixing The World - How to make fishing nets less destructive - BBC Sounds

Using underwater sounds and lights so only the fish we want to eat get caught

Replying to @pdanahar @POTUS
What he has not addressed is the timing. A pull out in the Afghan winter would have meant the Taliban could not have moved around the country so fast. It would have given the old government a window to try to stay on their feet & the US distance between the pull out and the chaos

The BBC calls for immediate action by the Chinese government to stop the attacks on journalists following reporting on the floods in Henan Province.
Over the weekend a social media post by a part of the Chinese Communist Party called on citizens to post comments on the whereabouts of a BBC team covering the floods in Henan Province. The public comments below the post included death threats against our team. Journalists from other media organisations reporting in Henan were subsequently confronted by an angry crowd looking for the BBC team. There must be immediate action by the Chinese government to stop these attacks which continue to endanger foreign journalists.

Vibe outside my office on 38th St, 2km from where #GeorgeFloyd was killed. The Montessori kids are marching. This pain hangs really heavily in the community but change, too, is in the air. #BLM
